Vehicular Camp and Method
An in-cabin convertible bed apparatus for vehicles comprising the combined, substantially flat or level surface of a trunk floor, a folded rear seat with a flat back, a parcel shelf to extend the bed surface and may comprise a container used to contain a mattress or elevate the level of the trunk floor providing elevated ergonomics for better quality relaxation or sleep is determined. A method comprises: Optionally folding down a rear seat of a vehicle; folding of a parcel shelf and placing it with one end on about the back of the rear seat of the vehicle and placing the other end on the central console or the central console armrest of the vehicle; partly securing it from sliding or tipping by the back of a seat of a subsequent seat row of the vehicle.
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY HAVING LOWER LEG SUPPORT AND SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat and a lower leg support. The seat includes a first end and a second end. The first and second ends are opposite to one another. The lower leg support is coupled to the seat at the second end and is movable relative to the seat between a retracted position and an extended position. A suspension assembly is coupled to the lower leg support. The suspension assembly includes a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion. The first end of the suspension assembly is coupled to a portion of the seat. The second end of the suspension assembly is coupled proximate to a distal end of the lower leg support. A distance between an interior surface of the intermediate portion and an adjacent surface of each of the seat and the lower leg support may vary based on lower leg support position.
Passenger Seats and Doors for an Autonomous Vehicle
An autonomous can include one or more configurable passenger seats to accommodate a plurality of different seating configurations. For instance, the one or more passenger seats can include a passenger seat defining a seating orientation. The passenger seat can be configurable in a first configuration in which the seating orientation is directed towards a forward end of the autonomous vehicle and a second configuration in which the seating orientation is directed towards a rear end of the autonomous vehicle. The passenger seat can include a seatback rotatable about a pivot point on a base of the passenger seat to switch between the first configuration and the second configuration. Alternatively, or additionally, the autonomous vehicle can include a door assembly pivotably fixed to a vehicle body of the autonomous vehicle such that a swept path of the door assembly when moving between an open position and a closed position is reduced.
Vehicle seat with extendable and retractable ottoman
A vehicle seat includes a seat base, a backrest connected to the seat base and an leg rest assembly, also referred to as a leg rest assembly. The leg rest assembly includes a deflectable leg support panel pivotably connected to the seat base. The deflectable leg support panel and deflects under a load of legs of the user and returns with a restoring force back to an initial position upon removing the load of the legs of the user. The leg rest assembly may be connected to the vehicle seat by a pivoting structure, that allows the leg rest assembly to be pivoted to a non use position. The leg rest assembly may also be fixedly connected to the vehicle seat a support base front cross structure. This fixed connection then forms an only pivot axis of the leg rest assembly.
Apparatus and method for bicycle personalized adjustment
An apparatus and a method for bicycle anti-theft and personalized adjustment are provided. When a biometric feature of a user matches a preset biological feature, a brake lever is fixed at a preset position to lock the bicycle, and a variable structure is driven to make personalized adjustments according to bicycle adjustment parameters corresponding to the biometric feature of the user.
Components with SMA-controlled hinge
A shape memory alloy (SMA) controlled hinge assembly is provided, including assemblies and combinations for adjusting a shape or position of an occupant support component, such as a vehicle seat support component or other seating component. The assembly includes an occupant support component and a hinge assembly configured to adjust a shape or position of at least a portion of the occupant support component. The hinge assembly includes a stationary plate and a movable plate rotatable relative to the base plate about a fixed axis of rotation. The hinge assembly includes a shape memory alloy wire coupling the stationary plate with the movable plate. An actuator is provided and configured to transform the phase of the shape memory alloy wire. In various aspects, the occupant support component is selected from one of a seat bottom; a seatback; a seat bolster; a seat head rest, and the like.
3 in 1 Truck
An addition to truck beds with a subsequent amount of seating for additional passengers. The seating is manufactured from waterproof material to eliminate deterioration from outside elements. The seating is embedded under grip proof covering which retracts and extracts from the truck floor bed by a push button module located on the driver side panel near the headlight switch. Retraction and extraction of the grip proof cover is motor operated and folds into a W shape against the bed head. The seating will expand upward and downward by manual power. The additional seats will be one or two row seat options per consumer choice. The row seats will come equipped with seat belts and headrest for stabilization to the passenger. The row seats are bolted down to the bed of the truck and are non-removable. The retractable flooring will lock back into place by metal hinges.
SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH INDEPENDENT SEAT BOTTOM TILT
Described are passenger seats (102) having a seat bottom (122) connected to the seat frame (108) at a hinge (130) at an aft portion of the seat bottom (122), and having a release mechanism (132) operably connected with the seat bottom (122) that, when actuated by a user, cause the seat bottom (122) to be released from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration, whereby the seat bottom (122) is free to rotate downward, independent of a seat back (142), about the hinge (130) to a tilted position in order to increase a range of available angles between the seat bottom (122) and seat back (130).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CHARGING OF BATTERY OF SEAT
A system and method of charging a battery of a seat in which a seat battery for supplying power to an additional device as well as movement of the position of the seat is positioned in the seat, and thus, even if the position of the seat is changed, it is possible to supply continuous power to an additional device included in the seat. In addition, the position of the seat is moved to charge the seat battery, and the seat battery provided in the seat is charged in consideration of whether the passenger sits on the seat, the state of charge of the battery of the vehicle, or the like, thereby smoothly charging the seat battery.
SEAT LIFTER
A seat lifter includes: an inner link for changing a height position of an inner lower arm with respect to a floor of a vehicle; an outer link for changing a height position of an outer lower arm with respect to the floor, a coupling rod that couples the inner link to the outer link; a planetary gear mechanism capable of causing the coupling rod to rotate relative to the inner lower arm and the outer lower arm; a drive unit capable of driving the planetary gear mechanism; and a power transmission rod that transmits power of the drive unit to the planetary gear mechanism. One of the planetary gear mechanism and the drive unit is disposed outside the outer lower arm in the width direction. The other of the planetary gear mechanism and the drive unit is disposed outside the inner lower arm in the width direction.
