SEAT SUPPORT FRAME OF A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT COMPRISING A SEAT FRAME AND AN INCLINATION-ADJUSTABLE SEAT SHELL
A seat support frame of a motor vehicle seat includes a seat frame which has left-hand and right-hand side parts, and a transverse tube connecting the two side parts to one another at the front. The seat support frame has a seat shell supported by the seat frame and composed of two sheet metal parts firmly, connected to and arranged at a distance from one another, specifically upper and lower shells. The upper and the lower shells form a channel running parallel to the transverse tube. The seat support frame includes an adjusting device which, on one side, is connected only, at a front region of one of the side parts and, on the other side, is connected in an articulated manner to the end region of the channel adjacent to the side part, and allows the distance of the seat shell relative to the transverse tube to be adjusted.
SUPPORT APPARATUS
A support apparatus includes a base member, an intermediate member, an upper member, a pair of first rails provided at the base member, the pair of first rails extending in a first direction, and a pair of second rails provided at the upper member, the pair of second rails extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The intermediate member includes a pair of first rollers engaging with the first rails and a pair of second rollers engaging with the second rails. The intermediate member constitutes a first pendulum mechanism that allows an oscillation of the upper member in the first direction and a second pendulum mechanism that allows an oscillation of the upper member in the second direction. The intermediate member includes a first drive portion that drives the first rollers to rotate and a second drive portion that drives the second rollers to rotate.
Vehicle and method of operating the vehicle
A vehicle is operable in a manual driving mode and in an at least partially automatic driving mode. To allow a rapid change from the automatic to the manual driving mode, the respective position of a driver seat and/or at least one driving-relevant cockpit element is adjusted for functional use by a driver of the vehicle such that the at least one driving-relevant cockpit element can be functionally used by the driver whenever the vehicle is, or is to be, operated in the automatic driving mode.
Seat for vehicles with segmented backrest and movable lumbar portion
A seat (1) comprises a seating surface (2) suitable to receive a user and a backrest (3) adaptable according to the user's needs. The seat further comprises a support structure (4) configured to connect the seat to the backrest. The backrest comprises an upper shoulder portion (6) and a lower lumbar portion (7) and the lumbar portion is movable along the support structure while the shoulder portion remains at a fixed height with respect to the support structure (4).
WALKING INFANT SEAT
The disclosure provides an infant vehicle seat that is capable of independent movement. The infant vehicle seat may include a base including a shell enclosing a seating area and an infant restraint harness. The infant vehicle seat may include four legs, each pivotably mounted to the base and including a joint between an upper segment and a lower segment. The infant vehicle seat may include a first actuator for each leg coupled with the base and the respective upper segment and configured to pivot the leg with respect to the base. The infant vehicle seat may include a second actuator for each leg coupled with the upper segment and the lower segment and configured to bend and extend the leg. The infant vehicle seat may include a control system configured to translate an input command into a series of control signals for each of the first actuators and second actuators.
VEHICLE SEAT
An assembly includes a seat bottom including a panel pivotable from a first position to a second position. The assembly includes a track supported by the seat bottom. The assembly includes a spring in the track and urging the panel toward the second position. The assembly includes a pyrotechnic actuator maintaining the spring in compression and actuatable to release the spring.
Method for adjusting switch position, and operation device for vehicle
A method for adjusting a switch position includes adjusting a position of a changeover switch for changing over a travel mode of a vehicle between an automated driving mode in which travel of the vehicle is controlled in an automated manner and a manual driving mode in which travel of the vehicle is operated by a driver is adjusted according to a state of the driver seat.
Virtual vehicle occupant rendering
Image data of a vehicle occupant are collected from a plurality of cameras. A dimensional model of substantially an entire body of the vehicle occupant is generated based on the image data. A gesture performed by the vehicle occupant is recognized based on the dimensional model. A vehicle subsystem is adjusted based on the gesture.
Aircraft cabin management system
An aircraft cabin management system includes a control unit and at least one sensor intended to be incorporated into a seat and suitable for establishing a communication with the control unit in order to transmit, to the control unit, at least one signal relating to at least one measurement performed by the sensor.
Slouch seat with seat base tilt
A vehicle seat includes a cushion, a seatback connected to the cushion and a track arrangement. The track arrangement includes a curved fixed track and a flexible track follower that is moveable along the curved fixed track between a full slouch and a full upright position. The curved fixed track is connected to a vehicle seat support base and the moveable track is connected to the cushion.
