Walking infant seat
The disclosure provides an infant vehicle seat that is capable of independent movement. The infant vehicle seat may include a base including a shell enclosing a seating area and an infant restraint harness. The infant vehicle seat may include four legs, each pivotably mounted to the base and including a joint between an upper segment and a lower segment. The infant vehicle seat may include a first actuator for each leg coupled with the base and the respective upper segment and configured to pivot the leg with respect to the base. The infant vehicle seat may include a second actuator for each leg coupled with the upper segment and the lower segment and configured to bend and extend the leg. The infant vehicle seat may include a control system configured to translate an input command into a series of control signals for each of the first actuators and second actuators.
MULTI-FUNCTION SEAT ACTUATOR
A seat actuation control system is disclosed. The seat actuation control system may permit multiple functions to be controlled by a single actuator. For example, a seat floor tracking function, and a seat pan track and swivel function may be individually controlled by a single actuator, such as a rotary actuator.
VEHICLE SEAT CONTROL APPARATUS
A vehicle seat control apparatus is configured to be provided in a vehicle switchable between a manual driving state in which a driver performs a driving operation of the vehicle and an automatic driving state in which the driving operation is performed automatically. The apparatus includes a seat adjuster, a controller, and a storage. The seat adjuster adjusts a position of a seat of the vehicle. The controller drives the seat adjuster and makes a transition between the driving two states. The storage stores seat position information indicating the seat position in the the manual driving state. The controller drives the seat adjuster on a basis of the seat position information read out from the storage, and moves, by the seat adjuster, the seat rearward on a basis of the seat position in the manual driving state as a reference position, upon making a transition from the manual driving state to the automatic driving state.
Apparatus for customizing a vehicle seat for an occupant
An apparatus for customizing a vehicle seat includes a seat having a cushion and a back coupled thereto and a plurality of force sensors in respective locations along the cushion and the back. The apparatus further includes electronic circuitry coupled with the plurality of sensors and programmed to associate forces sensed by ones of the plurality of force sensors with the respective locations thereof and to output the sensed forces and associated areas.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat is capable of being shifted to a walk-in state without side support parts or a tilt part hindering the seat back from folding forward. A seat includes a seat cushion, a seat back, and a leg rest part. The seat is provided with side support parts at left and right sides of an occupant, and a tilt part that moves a front portion of the seat cushion upward and downward. The seat is further provided with a detecting part that detects a state of the seat back, and a control unit that causes at least one of the side support parts and the tilt part to transit from a deployed state to a housed state when the detecting part detects that a forward turn of the seat back is started.
Seat support frame of a motor vehicle seat comprising a seat frame and an inclination-adjustable seat shell
A seat support frame of a motor vehicle seat includes a seat frame which has left-hand and right-hand side parts, and a transverse tube connecting the two side parts to one another at the front. The seat support frame has a seat shell supported by the seat frame and composed of two sheet metal parts firmly connected to and arranged at a distance from one another, specifically upper and lower shells. The upper and lower shells form a channel running parallel to the transverse tube. The seat support frame includes an adjusting device which, on one side, is connected only, at a front region of one of the side parts and, on the other side, is connected in an articulated manner to the end region of the channel adjacent to the side part, and allows the distance of the seat shell relative to the transverse tube to be adjusted.
Device for damping an upper suspension part in at least one spatial direction with respect to a lower suspension part movable relative thereto
The invention relates to a device for damping an upper suspension part in at least one spatial direction (X, Y, Z) with respect to a lower suspension part movable relative thereto, wherein a spring apparatus which acts between the upper suspension part and the lower suspension part is provided for damping, wherein an actuating element is provided by way of which a force can be introduced into the device bidirectionally in the operating direction of the spring apparatus, wherein the actuating element is actuable via a control apparatus.
Inbuilt Seat Leg Support and Seat
The present invention relates to an inbuilt seat leg support and a seat. The seat leg support is mounted in a seat. The seat includes a base frame and a cushion frame located above the base frame. A receiving space is formed between the base frame and the cushion frame. The seat leg support includes a leg support frame configured to be received in the receiving space. The leg support frame is movable and adjustable relative to the cushion frame. Movement and adjustment of the leg support frame cause the leg support frame to extend out of the receiving space to be in an extended state or to retract into the receiving space to be in a received state. According to the present invention, a receiving space for a leg support frame is reserved between a base frame and a cushion frame, and the leg support frame is disposed to be movable so that the leg support frame can be received in the receiving space when not in use. Receiving a leg support in a seat causes the present invention to be space-saving.
SEAT AND SEATBACK LINKAGE MECHANISM
A seat and seatback linkage mechanism includes: a pipe, a side bracket assembly, a seat, a seatback and driving source. The side bracket assembly includes a first side bracket and a second side bracket, and the pipe is mounted on the first and second side brackets. The seat is disposed between the first and second side brackets and includes a bottom surface, the bottom surface includes two first connecting portions and two second connecting portions, and the first connecting portions are pivotally connected to the first and second side brackets, respectively. The seatback is disposed between the first and second side brackets and connected to the second connecting portions of the seat, so that the seatback and the seat are drivingly connected to each other. The driving source is connected to one end of the seatback that is adjacent to the pipe to drive the driven end to move.
Support apparatus
A support apparatus includes a base member, an intermediate member, an upper member, a pair of first rails provided at the base member, the pair of first rails extending in a first direction, and a pair of second rails provided at the upper member, the pair of second rails extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The intermediate member includes a pair of first rollers engaging with the first rails and a pair of second rollers engaging with the second rails. The intermediate member constitutes a first pendulum mechanism that allows an oscillation of the upper member in the first direction and a second pendulum mechanism that allows an oscillation of the upper member in the second direction. The intermediate member includes a first drive portion that drives the first rollers to rotate and a second drive portion that drives the second rollers to rotate.
