Aircraft passenger cabin area comprising a restricted area
An aircraft passenger cabin area comprises a main aisle extending substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the aircraft passenger cabin area, a restricted area, wherein a non-encroachable safety area is defined in the region of the restricted area, a transverse aisle connecting the main aisle to the restricted area and at least one passenger seat comprising a rigid carrier structure, a backrest and a seat element and arranged in the passenger cabin area adjacent to the transverse aisle such that the seat element faces the transverse aisle. The seat element is displaceable, relative to the backrest and carrier structure, in a direction substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the transverse aisle between a usable position and an out-of-use position. In its usable position, the seat element, protrudes into the safety area, but, in its out-of-use position, the seat element clears the safety area.
SEAT ASSEMBLY HAVING COMPRESSION LIMITER WITH WAVE PORTION
A seat assembly includes a frame, a seating base layer arranged on the frame and a compression limiter layer arranged on the seating base layer. The compression limiter layer includes a coil portion and a wave portion having a curved profile. The wave portion includes a plurality of wave elements and one or more ribs connected between the wave elements. The seat assembly further includes a load distribution layer connected to the compression limiter layer and an adjustment module movable between a rear position and a forward position. The adjustment module is configured to move the wave portion between a retracted position and an extended position.
Fold and dive seat for vehicle
A fold and dive seat for a vehicle that achieves a fatigue reduction posture is provided. The seat includes a tip up-extension mechanism that enables tipping-up and extension of the front end of a seat cushion and a seatback reclining mechanism for the fold and dive seat so that tipping-up for lifting the front end of the seat cushion and extension for extending the front end forward are performed simultaneously performed when the seatback reclining is performed.
THIGH SUPPORT AND SEAT
A seat comprises a backrest, a seat support coupled to the backrest; and a thigh support coupled to the seat support. The thigh support includes a thigh support structure having a thigh extension, wherein the thigh extension is movably adjustable between a retracted position and a fully extended position. The thigh extension may include at least one elastically deformable element.
SEAT FOR VEHICLE WITH CUSHION TIP-UP AND DOWN FUNCTION
A seat for a vehicle with a cushion tip-up and down function is provided. The seat is configured such that a cushion leg provided in a cushion is held, in a fitted manner, by a support spring of a support structure provided in a seat base, and when the cushion is rotated, the cushion leg is allowed to be folded and ejected by being automatically rotated, thereby improving the convenience of use.
Seat slide structure
A seat slide structure includes a cushion frame, a slide rail including lower and upper rails, a movement mechanism, and a lock mechanism. The movement mechanism slides the cushion frame along a length direction of the slide rail. The lock mechanism includes a lock body engaging with the slide rail, and places or lifts a restriction on movement of the slide rail. The movement mechanism includes a lead screw, a gear part, and a shake absorber. The lead screw is provided in parallel with the slide rail, and is supported by the upper rail. The gear part transmits power from a power source to the lead screw to slide the lead screw and the upper rail along the lower rail. The shake absorber allows the cushion frame and the lead screw to move relative to one another in a moving direction of the upper rail along the lower rail.
AIRCRAFT SEAT UNIT, AND AIRCRAFT SEAT UNIT ASSEMBLY
In order to provide an aircraft seat unit and an aircraft seat unit assembly capable of meeting various passenger requirements, an aircraft seat unit is provided with a seat portion including a first buttocks support layer and a second buttocks support layer, and a backrest portion. The seat portion is configured to be capable of changing states between a short seat portion state and a long seat portion state. The first buttocks support layer configured to support the buttocks of a passenger in the short seat portion state is harder than the second buttocks support layer configured to support the buttocks of the passenger in the long seat portion state.
Push button mechanical seat adjustment controls
An apparatus for moving a seat cushion of a seat on which the operator sits includes a seat frame and a pan supporting the seat cushion that is movably supported on the seat frame for movement relative to the seat frame, such as forward-backward or tilting movement. A control panel is mounted to the pan at a forward end of the pan and accessible by the operator while seated on the seat cushion. The control panel includes a housing defining a ledge that is configured so that the operator can grasp underneath the ledge with the operator's hand, with the thumb at an upper face of the control panel. An actuator button is supported on the housing at the upper face of the control panel for actuation by the thumb of the operator while grasping the ledge. A mechanism is connected to the actuator button and is configured and operable upon actuation of the actuator button to permit movement of the pan relative to said seat frame. In one embodiment, two push buttons are provided connected to corresponding extension and tilt mechanisms.
Cushion length adjuster
An occupant support having a seat cushion. The seat cushion includes a rear pad and a front pad selectively movable with respect to the rear pad between a retracted position and an extended position.
Seating arrangement of an autonomous automobile
A seating layout of an autonomous automobile, which is aligned in a roughly rounded, circular or elliptical arrangement is disclosed. The seating layout comprises of a seating area and a cabin structure to provide a unique travelling experience in terms of atmosphere and feelings for the passengers along with different aspects of travel such as comfort, safety, ergonomics, etc. The seating area and the cabin structure are aligned and assembled together in such a way that the passengers are oriented towards a common focal area. This arrangement stimulates interaction and in turn, provides a communal atmosphere to the passengers. The novelty of this layout in an autonomous automobile will result in a visually unique interior.
