Control device for the comfort equipment of a passenger transport vehicle seat module, seat module and system for controlling comfort equipment
A control device for the comfort equipment of a passenger transport vehicle seat module includes a casing having a control unit and an USB port, a transmitter/receiver having an electrical plug to be plugged into the USB port, the transmitter/receiver to receive an adjusting command and to transmit the received adjusting command to the control unit, the control unit to transmit the received adjusting command to the one piece of comfort equipment. The control device further includes a locking device having a maneuvering member. When the maneuvering member is actuated, the locking device prevents the transmission of the adjusting command from the transmitter/receiver to the piece of comfort equipment.
Seat cushion
A seat cushion includes a cushion rear portion forming a rear portion of the seating surface, a cushion front portion forming a front portion of the seating surface and being configured to approach and separate from the cushion rear portion in a front-rear direction by a cushion length variable mechanism, a cushion cover covering the cushion front portion and the cushion rear portion, a retraction member disposed over a cover back surface of the cushion cover to a first member, and a push-in member provided on a second member, and configured to push the retraction member by the cushion front portion approaching the cushion rear portion, thereby retracting the cushion cover into a gap between the cushion front portion and the cushion rear portion with the retraction member.
AIRCRAFT BULKHEAD-MOUNTED PILOT SEAT WITH HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT
A bulkhead-mounted aircraft seat assembly configured for independent vertical and horizontal adjustment includes an aircraft seat (seatback and seat frame/cushion) for supporting a pilot, passenger, or other occupant. Parallel rails attach to the bulkhead and extend along the bulkhead (vertically or near vertically) with opposing slots set into each rail. A sled translates along the rails via paired sliding members set into the slots, each pair of sliding members connected to an axle extending through the sled. A four-bar linkage attached to the sled and to the aircraft seat; the four-bar linkage extends from a default position to allow the aircraft seat to translate along a horizontal linear rail under the seat while maintaining a stable vertical reference point above the cabin floor. The seat is independently configured for substantially vertical adjustment via a metering plate attached to the bulkhead.
TRIM COVER FOR SEAT WITH CUSHION LENGTH ADJUSTER
A seat includes a cushion comprising a foam body and a trim cover disposed thereon, the trim cover having a forward portion at a front of the cushion and at least one elastic band attached to the forward portion; and a movable cushion length adjuster having an extended position and a retracted position, the movable length adjuster comprising a body with an occupant surface on a first side, and features on a second side, opposite to the first side. The at least one elastic band is routed on the features, and in the retracted position, the movable cushion length adjuster at least partially covers a portion of the cushion, and in the extended position, the length adjuster is spaced apart from the portion such that the at least one elastic band tensions the trim cover by pulling on the forward portion.
SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly comprises a seat adjuster; and a seat including: a seat bottom connectable to a track assembly; a seatback pivotably connected to the seat bottom; a calf rest pivotably connected to the seat bottom; and a headrest pivotably connected to the seatback. The seat adjuster includes one or more motors and is connected to the seat to adjust the seat to a first seat position and to a second seat position via adjusting the seatback, the calf rest, and the headrest about a plurality of pivot axes.
SEMI-INTEGRATED SEAT
A vehicle comprises an interior delimited, at least partly, by a bottom wall and a rear wall and at least one seat mounted inside the interior; the seat includes sitting portion and a backrest, disconnected from the sitting portion; the sitting portion is connected directly to the bottom wall and the backrest is connected to the rear wall by a supporting system; the backrest is movable along the sitting portion by means of the supporting system between a retracted position and a forward position and the bottom wall is configured in such a way that, in use, when the backrest is at the retracted position a user is seated lower down on the sitting portion than when the backrest is at the forward position.
Vehicle seat
Provided is to stabilize a fixed state of each bag body provided at a vehicle seat and configured to expand to push a corresponding one of the shoulders of a seated passenger. Of a seat back provided at the vehicle seat, each shoulder support configured to support a corresponding one of the shoulders of the seated passenger includes an air cell configured to expand by injection of air. The air cell includes protrusions extending in a predetermined direction and provided at respective end portions of the air bag in the extending direction thereof. The air cell is attached to the inside of the seat back in such a manner that each of the protrusions provided at respective end portions in the extending direction is fixed to a corresponding one of fixing positions separated from each other in the width direction of the vehicle seat.
Actuator for recliner
Proposed is an actuator for a recliner which can be manufactured with components having simple structures to reduce weight, and functions of a seat operated through different cables are independently performed stably. The actuator for a recliner includes: a casing part, and a drive part provided with a worm wheel gear located inside the casing part and rotated by an operation of a motor, and a rack gear configured to move elastically toward a first or second side of the drive part in engagement with the worm wheel gear, with cables being coupled respectively to the first and second sides of the rack gear.
Seamless seat cushion extension assembly and method
An extendable seat base for a seat of a vehicle is disclosed. The seat base includes an outer cushion, a cord, and a motor. The outer cushion forms a top of the seat base and extends, in one unitarily formed piece, down a front of the seat base and back underneath or within the seat base, such that excess material of the outer cushion is positioned underneath or within the seat base. The cord is connected to an end of the outer cushion at the excess material. The motor is adapted to pull the excess material underneath or within the seat base while the seat base is in a retracted position and to release the excess material while the seat base is in an extended position. At least a portion of the excess material is used to form part of an extended seat for a vehicle occupant while the seat base is in the extended position.
Child safety seat having an adjustable seat board
A child safety seat includes a shell having a seat portion and a backrest, and a seat board assembled with the shell, the seat board being disposed on the seat portion so that a child placed in the child safety seat sits on the seat board, the seat board being slidable relative to the shell toward or away from the backrest. The seat board can be thereby configurable as an extension member that is movable relative to the shell for adjusting a leg room for a child sitting on the seat board.
