SEAT DRIVE DEVICE

A seat drive device, wherein one of first and second operation restricting portions corresponding to one of first and second transmission members is movable within one of first and second notches corresponding to another of the first and second transmission members when the one of the first and second transmission members is rotated from an initial state where both of the first and second transmission members are not rotated, and the first and second operation restricting portions are arranged to interfere with each other when both of the first and second transmission members are simultaneously rotated.

A single motor gearbox assembly (100) including a shift motor (104) operatively connected to a shift worm (106), a worm gear (108), a drive selection arm (110), and a drive motor (116) operatively connected to a plurality of output gears (112a-112c) to selectively control multiple seat assembly functions. The single motor gearbox assembly (100) further includes a plurality of micro-switches (114a-114c) configured to activate/deactivate the shift motor (104) and the drive motor (116).

POWER SEAT OPERATION DEVICE AND POWER SEAT

In a power seat operation device, a micro switch is attached inside a dial that is rotatably provided to a side face of a power seat. An opening is formed inside the dial, with an operation portion of a knob to operate the micro switch inserted through the opening. There is accordingly a possibility that liquid might infiltrate into the dial, however a channel is formed inside the dial by the dial and the knob. The channel lets liquid flow downward to the lower side of the micro switch so as to discharge the liquid to outside the dial in cases in which liquid has infiltrated into the dial through the opening in a state in which the opening is positioned at the upper side of the micro switch. The channel is partitioned from the micro switch, enabling flow of liquid to the micro switch to be prevented or suppressed.

ADJUSTABLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
20180186251 · 2018-07-05 ·

A seat assembly is provided with a seat bottom adapted to be mounted to a vehicle body. A seat back is adapted to be mounted adjacent to the seat bottom. At least one actuator is oriented in a region of one of the seat bottom and the seat back to adjust a seating position. A controller is in electrical communication with the actuator and is programmed to receive input indicative of a total travel time or distance, and adjust the seating position after a predetermined portion of the total travel time or distance to limit occupant discomfort.

Dual-function seat actuator

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for an aircraft seat with a dual-function linear actuator. The linear actuator may activate a first adjustable feature by moving in a first direction, and the linear actuator may activate a second adjustable feature by moving in a second direction. The linear actuator may include a decoupling mechanism. The decoupling mechanism may decouple the first adjustable feature and the second adjustable feature from the linear actuator in response to loss of power to the linear actuator.

OCCUPANT SUPPORT

A vehicle seat in accordance with the present disclosure includes a seat bottom and a seat back. The seat back is coupled to the seat bottom to move relative to the seat bottom. The seat bottom is coupled to a floor of a vehicle and configured to move relative to the seat back.

POWER SEAT OPERATION DEVICE AND POWER SEAT

In a power seat operation device, a cam portion formed at a dial base has valleys and peaks that are alternately arranged in a row along a rotation direction of a dial so as to form an undulation in a radial direction. A slider is supported by the dial so as to be slidable in the radial direction. The slider is abutted against the cam portion by biasing force from a roller spring and fits into one out of the valleys so as to retain the dial at one of the rotary positions. During rotational operation of the dial, the slider crosses over at least one out of the peaks while elastically deforming the roller spring and sliding with respect to the dial.

POWER SEAT OPERATION DEVICE AND POWER SEAT

In a power seat operation device, a slider that is supported so as to be slidable in a radial direction with respect to a dial slides toward the radial direction center of the dial during rotation of the dial. A knob engagement portion that is provided to the slider is thereby disposed between a pair of slider engagement portions that are provided to a knob. This enables rotational operation of the knob to be restricted. However, during rotational operation of the knob, one out of the pair of slider engagement portions opposes the knob engagement portion from toward the radial direction center of the dial. This enables rotational operation of the dial in conjunction with sliding of the slider to be restricted.

METHOD FOR PRE-ADJUSTING VEHICLE SEATS

A method for pre-adjusting a vehicle seat (1) for a passenger (2) using the vehicle seat (1) includes providing the vehicle seat (1) in a first vehicle seat configuration. A communication device (4) is integrated into a vehicle (6) and is activated. After activation, information relating to the passenger (2) is input into the communication device (4). The input information is then transmitted to a control unit (5). A second vehicle seat configuration is ascertained on the basis of the transmitted information. The vehicle seat (1) is then automatically converted from the first vehicle seat configuration to the second vehicle seat configuration.
