Power seat operation device and power seat
In a power seat operation device, a micro switch is attached inside a dial that is rotatably provided to a side face of a power seat. An opening is formed inside the dial, with an operation portion of a knob to operate the micro switch inserted through the opening. There is accordingly a possibility that liquid might infiltrate into the dial, however a channel is formed inside the dial by the dial and the knob. The channel lets liquid flow downward to the lower side of the micro switch so as to discharge the liquid to outside the dial in cases in which liquid has infiltrated into the dial through the opening in a state in which the opening is positioned at the upper side of the micro switch. The channel is partitioned from the micro switch, enabling flow of liquid to the micro switch to be prevented or suppressed.
INFERENCE DEVICE, CONTROL DEVICE, INFERENCE METHOD, AND INFERENCE PROGRAM
An inference device detects, with a detection section, an electrical characteristic between plural predetermined detection points on a vehicle seat provided with a soft material that is conductive and that exhibits a change in an electrical characteristic according to a change in pressure imparted. An inference section employs a learning model to infer a posture state of an occupant of the vehicle seat from the electrical characteristic of the vehicle seat. The electrical characteristic when pressure has been imparted to the vehicle seat and the posture state information indicating the posture state of the occupant when imparting pressure to the vehicle seat are employed as training data for a learning model trained so as to be input with the electrical characteristic and output the posture state information, and trained so as to be input with the electrical characteristic and output the posture state of the occupant corresponding to the input electrical characteristic.
Seat control device
A seat control device controls an electric seat in which a seat portion is moved by a predetermined distance by a first motor and a backrest is tilted by a predetermined angle by a second motor. The seat control device includes: a pinching detecting unit that detects an object being pinched between seats due to a movement of the seat portion based on a rotational state of the first motor and a predetermined threshold value. The threshold value is a threshold value that changes according to a tilt angle of the backrest such that pinching is easily detected as the tilt angle of the backrest increases.
SEAT ASSEMBLY ADJUSTMENT PATTERNS
A seat assembly is provided with a seat bottom and a seat back. A first actuator is oriented in a lower lumbar region. A second actuator is oriented in an upper lumbar region. A controller is programmed to operate the first actuator to adjust the lower lumbar region, and operate the second actuator to subsequently adjust the upper lumbar region to provide a seat assembly motion pattern. A third actuator is oriented in a thoracic region or a seat bottom region. The controller operates the third actuator to adjust the thoracic region or the seat bottom region after adjusting the lumbar regions to provide a seat assembly motion pattern. A plurality of sensors is provided on the seat back and the seat bottom to initiate the pattern in response to a lack of detected occupant motion to induce muscle activation upon an occupant.
Vehicle seat frame with detent fittings which are coupled together
A vehicle seat frame comprising a first adjusting part and a second adjusting part which is pivotable relative to the first adjusting part, at least two detent fittings by means of which the first adjusting part and the second adjusting part are connected together, wherein the at least two detent fittings hold the two adjusting parts in position relative to each other in a locked state and are able to be unlocked from each other in order to pivot the two adjusting parts, an actuating device which is connected to a first of the at least two detent fittings for unlocking the first of the at least two detent fittings and a coupling device by means of which the at least two detent fittings are coupled together for a common unlocking process. The coupling device comprises a tensile element which is designed to transmit a tensile force.
DUAL ACTUATOR
An actuator includes a motor, a gear assembly, a pulley selectively rotatable about an axis by the motor via the gear assembly, at least one biasing member, a first cable connected at one end to the pulley, and a second cable connected at one end to the pulley. The pulley is rotatable in a first pulley direction to a first actuation position to increase tension in the first cable and is rotatable in a second pulley direction opposite the first pulley direction to a second actuation position to increase tension in the second cable. The at least one biasing member is operable to bias the pulley in the second pulley direction when the pulley is in the first actuation position and to bias the pulley in the first pulley direction when in the pulley is the second actuation position.
Authorization-based adjustment of passenger compartment arrangement
A transportation system is disclosed. The transportation system includes a vehicle, a plurality of seating assemblies positioned within a passenger compartment of the vehicle and defining an arrangement, a plurality of actuators that effect movement of various components of the plurality of seating assemblies, a plurality of sensors, and a controller. Specific examples of pre-set or pre-programmed arrangements are disclosed, as well as the ability to customize the arrangement. Additionally, exemplary methods are disclosed that illustrate transitions between a variety of the pre-set or pre-programmed arrangements.
Vehicle seat and method for adjusting a vehicle seat
A vehicle seat and method for adjusting the vehicle seat uses a hinge mechanism (18), a guide mechanism (20), and a single actuation device (22) designed to function selectively either in a backrest control mode, acting on the blocking device (28) in order to move the blocking device (28) towards the release position, or in a track (30) control mode, acting on the locking device (36) in order to move the locking device (36) towards the unlocking position. The actuation device (22) is controlled by a user to cause the actuation device to function either in backrest control mode or in track (30) control mode.
RELEASE MECHANISM
A release mechanism generates a force on a cable to operate an adjustment mechanism or the like in a seat or other device. The release mechanism includes a rotor, a housing, a spring, and a cover that attaches to the housing. The spring generates a torque, and the spring also axially biases the rotor into engagement with the cover to prevent rattling.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a seat bottom adapted to slide along a floor, a seat back coupled to the seat bottom, and powered means for rearranging the vehicle seat by sliding the seat bottom along the floor and/or pivoting the seat back relative to the seat bottom.
