Pull-strap assembly for vehicle seat
A pull-strap assembly for actuating a recline mechanism of a vehicle seat includes a clevis having first and second pieces configured to snap into one another, wherein the pieces cooperate to define a cylindrical body and a cable connector. The assembly further includes a fixed anchor and a tension member having a fixed end connected to the anchor, an intermediate portion looped around the cylindrical body, and a free end. The clevis is configured to move towards the anchor responsive to the free end being pulled by a user to release the recline mechanism.
REACTIVE AND DISSIPATIVE RECLINER SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat that includes: a cushion; a backrest; an articulation having a first flange fixed to the cushion and a second flange fixed to the backrest, the second flange being mounted so as to be able to rotate with respect to the first flange; a device for straightening the backrest interdependently rotating with the second flange and defining a straightening slot comprising a first portion separated from a second portion by a bridge; and a pin integral with the backrest, extending into the first portion of the straightening slot. When an impact torque greater than a predetermined torque is applied to the backrest, the pin breaches the bridge and then moves freely in the second portion.

Seat lock apparatus
A seat lock apparatus that keeps a seat back of a vehicle in a locked state, and is at least partially covered with a cover, includes: a hooking member having an engaging groove that engages with a striker that enters from a back side; a shaft member that rotatably and pivotally supports the hooking member in a vicinity of a front end; a case member to which the shaft member is fixed; a striker entry groove formed on the case member and to which the striker enters; and a pair of projectional holding members provided respectively on both sides of the striker entry groove and projecting backward. Further, the cover is held by inserting the pair of projectional holding members into a holding member insertion hole provided on the cover.
Vehicle occupant posture detection
A vehicle occupant posture detection (OPD) system, including: a measuring device coupled to a seat back of a seat of a vehicle and adapted to determine an angle (α) between a Z-axis and a torso line of an occupant seated in the seat by measuring an angle of the seat back; a measuring device coupled to a seat bottom of the seat of the vehicle and adapted to determine an angle (β) between the Z-axis and a femoral line of the occupant seated in the seat by measuring an angle of the seat bottom; and means for receiving and using the determined values of α and β to determine an angle (φ) between the torso line and the femoral line of the occupant seated in the seat and thereby characterize a posture state of the occupant seated in the seat.

Seat arrangement for a means of transport
The invention relates to a seat arrangement for a means of transport, in particular for a means of passenger transport, wherein the seat arrangement can be arranged on the means of transport by means of a fastening device, wherein the seat arrangement is intended and suitable for providing a sitting position at standing height, wherein the seat arrangement comprises at least one frame element, which is arranged on the fastening device by means of at least one mounting shaft, wherein the at least one mounting shaft is received in at least one receiving device of the fastening device, wherein the at least one receiving device is arranged on a fastening element which is configured as an arm element extending along a height axis.
Vehicle seat with center service door
A vehicle seat includes a seat base and a seat back which together define a first outboard seating section, a second outboard seating section, and a center seating section. A center seat back of the center seating section is defined by a service door and a removable panel provided beneath the service door in a height direction of the vehicle seat. The service door is connected to one of the seat base and the seat back at a first hinged connection. The center seat back is configured to have a fold down, service position where the service door pivoted at the first hinged connection is located above the seat base to provide access to an area rearward the seat back in a front-rear direction of the vehicle seat. The service door is prevented from moving to the fold down, service position with the panel located beneath the service door.
REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A seat assembly for a vehicle having a vehicle body includes a seat bench adapted to be arranged inside the vehicle body and defines a passenger compartment and a service compartment inside the vehicle body. The seat bench includes a seat bottom to facilitate a seating of a one or more passengers, and a back support. The back support has a first support panel adapted to move between an upright position and a folded position relative to the seat bottom, and a second support panel arranged proximate to the seat bottom and removably coupled to the first support panel and the seat bottom. The first support panel is moved to the folded position from the upright position upon a disengagement of the second support panel from the first support panel and the seat bottom to provide an access of the service compartment.
