Equipment for Monitoring and Detecting the Presence of an Infant Inside a Motor Vehicle
An assembly to detect the presence of a child inside the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle includes an identification element configured to be applicable on a predetermined location; a receiving element configured to detect the presence of the identification element; a control unit communicating with the receiving element and programmed for processing the information coming from the receiving element so as to emit an alarm signal as soon as a condition including the missing detection of the identification element occurs, and at the same time, occurs when at least a predetermined condition is present of the vehicle in which the assembly is installed in use.
ABANDONED CHILD VEHICLE TEMPERATURE SAFETY SYSTEM
The disclosure includes a child/pet car safety system. The system includes a 360 degree camera with temperature and humidity sensors and a phone app in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. The attached camera dome recognizes persons or animals in the vehicle. When the vehicle is turned off, the system engages temperature controls to keep remaining persons or animals in the vehicle at a safe and comfortable temperature. The accompanying app notifies users of conditions in the vehicle.
Child restraint base and child restraint system
A child restraint base adapted for a child restraint carrier includes a base body for mounting the child restraint carrier, a first panel component, a second panel component, an anchor belt and a third panel component. The first panel component and the second panel component are disposed on the base body and spaced from each other. A first through slot is formed between the first panel component and the base body. A second through slot is formed between the second panel component and the base body. The anchor belt passes through the first through slot and the second through slot and is slidable between an in-use position and a stored position. The third panel component is disposed between the first panel component and the second panel component and pivotable between an opened position and a closed position for tensioning the anchor belt to remove slack from the anchor belt.
System for detecting the presence of an occupant in a vehicle and means thereof
A system for detecting a child left in a vehicle, in a coin-like shaped housing, includes: at least two disparate sensors for measuring parameters within a vehicle environment, an alerting mechanism for sending a signal to the vehicle user, and a processor for providing instructions. The system further includes a user interface platform (UIP) having a wireless network connection to at least one of the housing, a user, a vehicle operation system, a social network, an emergency system, a connectable subject and any combination thereof.
Apparatus and method for a child seat with adjustable crotch buckle positioner
A child safety seat, such as a car seat, booster seat, stroller seat, or high chair, can include a crotch buckle positioner that provides adjustability for the harness system as the child grows. The seat can include a seat bottom, a seat back, a harness system, and a crotch belt positioner. Crotch belt webbing, including a buckle, can extend up through a portion of the crotch belt positioner and is adjusted by the crotch belt positioner. The crotch belt positioner can be adjusted into multiple positions along the seat bottom. Adjusting the crotch belt positioner from a first position to a second position can adjust at least one of the length of the crotch belt webbing that extends about the top surface of the seat bottom and the position that the relational position that the crotch belt webbing extends up through crotch belt positioner with respect to the seat bottom.
Vehicle Occupant Reminder System
A vehicle occupant reminder system is shown and described. The vehicle occupant reminder system includes a first sensor. The first sensor is placed in a child car seat. The first sensor will determine if there is an occupant in the vehicle. A second sensor will determine if the vehicle is in an activated state. The first sensor and the second sensor are connected to a CPU. The CPU will take inputs from the first sensor and the second sensor. The CPU will send a warning via a wireless transceiver upon determining that there is an occupant in a vehicle that is off.
OCCUPANT SUPPORT
An occupant support includes a seat frame and a seat pad coupled to the seat frame. The seat pad includes a cushion member fixed to the seat frame and an outer trim arranged to cover the cushion member. Portions of the outer trim are movable relative to the rest of the occupant support.

Unattended Occupant Alarm Assembly
An unattended occupant alarm assembly includes a plurality of passenger pressure pads that is each integrated into a respective passenger seat in a vehicle to detect the weight of a passenger sitting in any other the passenger seats. A driver pressure pad is integrated into a driver's seat of the vehicle to detect the weight of a driver sitting in the driver's seat. A control unit is coupled to the vehicle. The control unit is actuated into an alert condition when the driver pressure pad does not detect the weight of the driver and any of the passenger pressure pads detects the weight of the passenger after a pre-determined duration of time. Additionally, the vehicle horn is actuated to emit an audible alarm and the electric window system is actuated to roll down windows of the vehicle when the control unit is actuated into the alert condition.
CHILD RESTRAINT CARRIER AND LOCKING MECHANISM THEREOF
A child restraint carrier includes a seat body, a headrest and a locking mechanism. The headrest is movably installed on the seat body. The locking mechanism is for allowing or restraining a movement of the headrest relative to the seat body. A position of the headrest relative to the seat body can be adjusted easily by the locking mechanism to fit a child. Therefore, the present invention has an advantage of easy adjustment.
