VEHICLE SEAT
Provided is a vehicle seat configured such that a relatively smaller space is formed under a seat cushion when the seat cushion is tilted frontward. A vehicle seat comprises a rail device including lower and upper rails; a seat cushion; a seat back; and a hinge device with a rotation axis for rotatably connecting the upper rail and the seat cushion at their front parts; and a coupling device for detachably connecting the seat cushion and the upper rail at their rear parts. A seat cushion frame of the seat cushion includes side members, front and rear members, and a submarining prevention member located rearward of the front member, extending in a crosswise direction, and coupled to the side members. The rotation axis is located rearward of a central axis of the submarining prevention member.
Vehicle seat comprising a restraint system for the adjustment and suspension device
A seat for a vehicle includes a seat cushion and an adjustment and suspension device having a base fixed to the frame and a supporting plate fixed to the seat cushion movable in translation relative to the base in a direction of elevation. The seat also has a restraint system that includes: at least one restraint member fixed to the frame, the restraint member defining at least one through opening extending along a main direction of elongation substantially parallel to the direction of elevation; and at least one restraint element fixed to the supporting plate, the through opening of the restraint member receiving the restraint element free in translation along the main direction of elongation.

Seat sliding structure for vehicle
A seat sliding structure for a vehicle includes: a pair of left and right slide rails that include upper rails, which are attached to a lower portion of a vehicle seat, and lower rails, which support the upper rails such that the upper rails can slide in a vehicle longitudinal direction; rail guiding members that are fixed to a floor panel, and that support the lower rails such that the lower rails can slide in the vehicle longitudinal direction between a driving position at a vehicle front side and a relaxation position at a vehicle rear side; and a locking mechanism that locks movement of the slide rails at the relaxation position, and that releases a locked state when a frontal collision of the vehicle is detected or predicted.
ARMREST ARRANGEMENT FOR A VEHICLE SEAT STRUCTURE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
An armrest arrangement having a support structure secured to a vehicle and having two carrier arms supported so as to be pivotably movable relative to the support structure about a pivot axis, and having a blocking device acting between the support structure and at least one carrier arm and activated by a mechanical control unit to block a pivot movement of the carrier arm. The control unit cooperates with the blocking device, depending on an acceleration or speed of the pivot movement. The support structure has, for each carrier arm, an axle carrier continuation on which one of the two carrier arms is pivotably moveably supported. The two axle carrier continuations have respective carrier arms spaced apart from each other along the pivot axis.
VEHICLE SEAT MOUNTING BRACKET FOR ENERGY ATTENUATING MEMBER
A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle body including a frame backing member, and a vehicle seat including a seat back having a seat back frame. An energy attenuating member is positioned in a space between the frame backing member and the seat back frame in a front-rear direction of the vehicle assembly. The energy attenuating member is connected to the frame backing member. A mounting bracket is connected to the energy attenuating member. A connection support portion releasably connects the mounting bracket to an upper portion of the seat back frame in a height direction of the vehicle assembly.
MODULAR LEG ASSEMBLY FOR PASSENGER SEAT
Described are modular leg assemblies for passenger seats. The modular leg assemblies can include a universal first leg member, a universal second leg member, a size specific member, and a universal seat frame tube receptor. The universal first leg member may be coupled to a first seat track fitting. The universal second leg member may be coupled to a second seat track fitting. The size specific member may be coupled to the universal first leg member and to the universal second leg member. At least one of the universal second leg member or the universal seat frame tube receptor can include a set of attachment points for coupling the universal seat frame tube receptor to the universal second leg member.

OCCUPANT PROTECTION DEVICE
An occupant protecting device provided inside or below a seat cushion of a vehicle seat, including an airbag cushion, an inflator, and a cover that covers at least a portion of the airbag cushion and is capable of being cleaved opened by the expansion and deployment of the airbag cushion. The airbag cushion has front and rear attaching points attached to the vehicle seat side as well as an expanding and deploying part that at least expands and deploys between the front and rear attaching points. The cover has a weak portion that serves as a starting point when cleaved open by expansion and deployment of the airbag cushion and is arranged on a rearward side. The cover covers the front attaching points side of the expanding and deploying part and is attached to the vehicle seat on the front attaching points side.
Kinetic seat assemblies for vehicles
A kinetic seat assembly that rotates based on a force applied on an occupant seated therein is provided. The kinetic seat assembly includes a primary seat cushion frame, a primary seat back frame, a secondary seat cushion frame pivotally connected to the primary seat cushion frame, and a secondary seat back frame pivotally connected to the primary seat back frame. The kinetic seat assembly further includes a front pivot mechanism for damping movement between the primary seat cushion frame and the secondary seat cushion frame in a kinetic seat vertical direction, and an upper pivot mechanism for damping movement between the primary seat back frame and the secondary seat back frame in a kinetic seat longitudinal direction.
