VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat has a seat back which includes a seat cover that forms an outer surface of the seat, and an airbag that is held on a seat inner side of the seat cover. The airbag is deployed toward a seat occupant side while a burst portion formed at a sewn portion of the seat cover is released. In the burst portion, a first sewing line extending in a seat up-down direction and a second sewing line extending in a direction intersecting the first sewing line intersect with each other. Assuming that the seat cover portion around the burst portion is divided into a plurality of sections by the first sewing line and the second sewing line, a webbing cloth is provided for each section to regulate stretch of the seat cover in a planar direction when the airbag is deployed.
Vehicle seat and manufacturing method for the same
To reduce an amount of rear protrusion of a vehicle seat equipped with an airbag module configured to deploy rearward, in a vehicle seat provided with a seat cushion and a seat back, the seat back includes: a seat back frame including a pair of left and right side frames extending in a vertical direction and an upper frame connecting upper ends of the side frames to each other; an airbag module supported by an upper half of the seat back frame via a bracket; and a skin member covering the seat back frame, the bracket, and the airbag module from a rear side thereof, wherein a part of the skin member corresponding to the airbag module is provided with a frangible portion configured to open upon inflation of an airbag.

A vehicle seat includes a seatback frame including a pair of side members extending vertically along either side thereof and providing a structural framework of a seatback, a plate member positioned behind the seatback frame and including an extension extending in an outboard direction from the side member located on an outboard side of the seatback frame, a mounting member connected to the outboard side member, and an airbag module positioned on a front side of the extension and connected to the outboard side member via the mounting member, a clearance being defined between the airbag module and the extension.

SEAT BACK
This seat back includes a side airbag device that is attached to the outer portion of a back frame, and a side pad in which a cushion body elastically supporting a seater, a side cover covering the side pad, and a side resin member that is provided to the pad rear surface of the side pad and is responsible for supporting the side pad, fastening an end of the side cover, and fixing to the back frame. The cushion body is provided so as to cover the side airbag device from the front of the seat, and the side resin member has an opening for opening a deployment area of the airbag that inflates to the front of the seat.

SEAT BACK
A seat back has a frame and a cushion member. The cushion member has a central main member and two side members. Each member includes a pad, a cover, and a support member. A pair of right and left engaging portions are located on the upper part of the main support member. The upper part of each of the side support members has an engaged portion. Each engaging portion engages against one of the respective engaged portions, and the main support member and each side support member are disabled from moving relative to the frame in the front-rear and right-left directions.

The invention relates to a vehicle seat for a motor vehicle, comprising a backrest (10), a seat (11) and an airbag device, wherein the airbag device comprises at least one airbag module (12) and at least one arrestor strap mechanism, wherein the at least one airbag module (12) comprises at least one airbag (14) and the at least one arrestor strap mechanism comprises at least one arrestor strap arrangement (2) and at least one tensioning device (3) for the arrestor strap arrangement (2), wherein one end of the arrestor strap 10 arrangement (2) is attached to the airbag (14), wherein the tensioning device (3) is arranged on the seat (11).
SEAT BACK
A seat back includes a frame and a cushion member. The cushion member comprises a main member and two side members. The main member comprises a main pad, a main cover, and a main support member. The side member comprises a side pad, a side cover, and a side support member. At least one of the side members houses an airbag device. For side member with an airbag, its side support member has a through hole allowing the airbag device to pass through and attach to the frame. A weakened portion at the bottom of this through hole ruptures upon airbag deployment.
