Process for forming an airbag chute on a seat
An occupant support includes a seat frame, a seat cushion unit, and an airbag system. The airbag system includes an airbag unit coupled to the seat frame and an airbag chute coupled to the seat cushion unit. The airbag chute encloses the airbag unit and retains the airbag unit to the seat frame. The airbag chute includes a first chute flap, a second chute flap, and a zipper coupling distal ends of the first and second chute together in an installed position.
PASSENGER RESTRAINT DEVICE
Pair of airbags, a left side tensile cloth and the right side tensile cloth stowed within the seat cushion of the seat, and a lower tensile cloth that connects both ends of the left side tensile cloth and the right side tensile cloth in the inner portion of the seat cushion, wherein the lower tensile cloth is disposed in the center in the left-right direction of the seat cushion and to the front side of center in the front-rear direction of the seat cushion, where the left side tensile cloth and the right side tensile cloth extend to the left and right rearwardly from both the left and right ends of the lower tensile cloth in the inner portion of the cushion, such that the left side tensile cloth and the right side tensile cloth are stretched between the seatback and the seat cushion when the airbag expands and deploys.
Vehicle seat having a removable trim cover and integrated airbag chute
A vehicle seat for a portion of a vehicle seat is provided. The vehicle seat includes a central base cover, a removable trim cover extending over at least a portion of the central base cover, and a side base cover secured to the central base cover. A fastener assembly has a first fastener interface secured to the removable trim cover and a second fastener interface secured to the side base cover and connected to the first fastener interface. An airbag assembly includes an inflatable airbag and an inflator disposed within an airbag chute. The airbag chute has a first end region and a second end region. The first end region is secured to the central base cover, the second fastener interface, the side base cover, and the second end region.
VEHICLE SEAT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A vehicle seat includes a seat pad and a seat cover including a first part and a second part. The seat cover is provided with: a sewing line that sews the first part and the second part together; and an outline stitch that extends in parallel to the sewing line and that is located on one side of the sewing line. A belt-shaped plate is sewn to a first seam allowance and a first main body of the first part by the outline stitch in a position on an end side of the first seam allowance relative to the sewing line. The seat pad is covered with the seat cover in a state where the belt-shaped plate extends beyond the sewing line toward the second part and where the belt-shaped plate presses a second seam allowance to abut against a second main body of the second part.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion including a cover, a frame and a pad, a plurality of parts of the cover being restrained to the frame and the pad; a cushion airbag device mounted in a front portion in the seat cushion and configured to inflate and deploy an airbag at a time of a frontal collision of a vehicle; and a restraint release part provided in a part of the cover positioned at at least one side in a seat front-rear direction with respect to the cushion airbag device among the plurality of parts of the cover. The restraint release part is configured to release the restraint of the part of the cover with an inflation pressure of the airbag.
VEHICLE SEAT COVER
A vehicle seat cover comprises a cushion seat cover and a backrest cover, wherein the backrest cover comprises a front cloth, a back cloth and two side cloths, the side cloth is provided with an airbag blasting seam which is formed by hot pressing.
Trim cover for seat with airbag module
A vehicle seat assembly is provided having a seat frame and a foam cushion supported on the seat frame. An airbag module is positioned in an opening formed in the foam cushion. A trim cover assembly covering the foam cushion and airbag module has an interlay material sewn to a trim panel at an interlay seam. The interlay material extends from the interlay seam to cover an outboard surface of the airbag module inside the trim panel to ensure the airbag module is not visible through the trim panel.
Vehicle seat
A seat includes an airbag module fixed to a seat frame, a trim cover including a breaking part which breaks according to an inflation and a deployment of an airbag of the airbag module, a first stay cloth and a second stay cloth which guide the inflating and deploying airbag to the breaking part, a first fixing member which is attached to the backside frame and stretches and supports the first stay cloth, and a second fixing member which stretches and supports the second stay cloth, in which the backside frame is provided with a pair of first attachment holes into which both end portions of the first fixing member are inserted and a pair of second attachment holes into which both end portions of the second fixing member are inserted.
Seat assembly with integrated belt member
A seat assembly includes a seatback having an interior portion and a seat portion having an interior portion. A belt member includes first and second ends and a deployable portion disposed therebetween. The deployable portion is operable between a stowed position and a deployed position. The deployable portion of the belt member is disposed within the interior portion of the seatback and the interior portion of the seat portion when the deployable portion is in the stowed position. The deployable portion of the belt member is disposed outside of the interior portion of the seatback and outside of the interior portion of the seat portion when the deployable portion is in the deployed position.
