Airbag module-equipped seat, and method for mounting same
An airbag module-equipped seat in which the periphery of an attachment portion of a guide member that guides a deployment direction of an airbag has a compact size and the guide member can be attached easily while maintaining satisfactory deployment performance of the airbag. This seat includes an airbag module attached to a side frame, a guide member that guides a deployment direction of the airbag module, and an attachment member for attaching the guide member to the side frame. The side frame has an attachment hole for the attachment member at a position different from a shaft portion for attaching the airbag module. The attachment member has a holding space in which an end of the guide member is held in a detachable manner, and is inserted into the attachment hole in a state in which the end of the guide member is held in the holding space.
Vehicular seat
Provided is an inexpensive, easy-to-assemble vehicular seat having few components. The vehicular seat 1A has a surface skin 13 and a backboard 12 to which the surface skin 13 is attached, wherein the surface skin 13 has a first surface skin 13a and a second surface skin 13b connected to the first surface skin 13a, protruding members 16 and holes 17 are provided as a connecting structure for connecting the backboard 12 and the second surface skin 13b, and the second surface skin 13b is formed from a soft material such as an elastomer.
SEAT SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FORMED BY ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
A support assembly formed by an additive manufacturing process using a printing head includes a trim member. A body includes multiple layers of at least one polymeric material applied onto the trim member via the printing head. The multiple layers each have multiple resilient polymeric material elements. A protective and abrasion resistant polymeric material cover is applied over the body using the printing head. At least one structural element is positioned in the body by operation of the printing head. At least one sensor is positioned in the body. At least one passage is formed within the body by selective omission of the at least one polymeric material from the printing head as the printing head displaces during the additive manufacturing process.
Vehicle Seat
In a vehicle seat (1), a heater element (40) disposed between the surface of a cushion pad (8) and a skin member (9) includes a pair of main body portions (45-47) and a crossing portion (48, 49) connecting the main body portions to each other, the crossing portion being received in a tuck-in groove (11) formed in the cushion pad and extending through a gap defined between a bottom portion (22) of the tuck-in groove and a tuck-in member (35). The heater element includes a substrate (41) in sheet form, and a heater wire (42) attached to the substrate, and the heater wire in the crossing portion extends in a direction orthogonal to a lengthwise direction of the tuck-in groove in a zigzag pattern, the heater wire including a bent portion (62) of the zigzag pattern located in a bottom region (68) of the tuck-in groove.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion and a seatback. The seat cushion includes a pad having a groove, a plurality of seat covers for covering the pad surface, and a suspending member for connecting two of the plurality of seat covers, and fixing the two seat covers to the pad inside the groove formed in the pad. A plurality of minute holes are formed in the suspending member between a part connected to one of the two seat covers and a part connected to the other seat cover for ventilation between an inside and an outside of the groove formed in the pad with respect to the suspending member. This secures ventilation performance of the seat cover surface even when the occupant is seated on the vehicle seat.
Seat cover and vehicle seat
A seat cover includes: a surface member; and a pocket including: a bag part arranged on a back surface side of the surface member and sewn on a folded portion of the surface member folded toward the back surface side along an edge of a pocket opening; a bead part interposed between the bag part and the folded portion extending along at least one of a pair of longitudinal edges of the pocket opening, sewn on the folded portion and the bag part, and arranged to protruding into the pocket opening; and a core member inserted into the bead part, wherein: the bead part and the core member respectively include extension portions extending beyond a pair of lateral edges of the pocket opening in a longitudinal direction of the pocket opening; and the extension portions of the bead part and the core member are fixed to each other.
Recessed seam structure for cover
A recessed seam structure for a cover (3) that improves workability when forming a recessed seam (A) and allows frequent attachment and detachment at the recessed seam (A) is provided. In a seat (1) having the recessed seam (A) formed by pulling part of the cover (3) toward a side of a cushion material (2), the recessed seam (A) is provided with an opening and closing fastener (30) configured to couple the cover (3) and the cushion material (2), and the opening and closing fastener (30) includes a first fastener half (31) fixed to a back face of the cover (3) and a second fastener half (32) fixed to the cushion material (2). In such a seat (1), the recessed seam (A) can be formed easily and reliably on the seat (1) by aligning an end of the first fastener half (31) in a longitudinal direction and an end of the second fastener half (32) in the longitudinal direction of the opening and closing fastener (30) and simply sliding a slider (33).
Vehicle seating assembly with aesthetic leather trim cover assembly
A vehicle seat is provided, in at least one embodiment, comprising a cushion and a leather trim cover assembly disposed over the cushion. In at least this embodiment, the trim cover assembly has a central trim panel assembly secured to at least one peripheral trim panel assembly, and the central trim panel assembly has a leather upper layer and a sub-layer assembly having at least one protruding design secured to the leather upper layer.
Method for producing an element having a cover, and such an element
A method produces an element (3), in particular a vehicle seat, having a seamless cover (2). The seamless cover (2) is optionally provided with a lamination (1). A molding (1.2) is applied and fastened to a surface side (1.1) of the lamination (1) facing away from the cover (2) or to a surface side (2.2) of the cover (2) that is not visible. The fastened molding (1.2) is connected to the cover (2) by bonding.
