Trim covers with reinforcing assemblies for providing straight seams and smooth/symmetrical trim surfaces along one or more seams. For example, the trim covers may employ one or more wires arranged along or proximate the one or more seams such that the seams are straight and not wavy. In one or more embodiments, the trim cover may also employ one or more elastic members to provide tension to the surface such that it does not wrinkle and/or sag.

A conveyance seat includes a seat pad; and a skin which covers the seat pad, wherein the seat pad includes a first pad member and a second pad member that is harder than the first pad member, wherein the second pad member includes a first region and a second region which is harder than the first region, and wherein an engagement portion that locks the skin is provided in the first region of the second pad member.

A seat back comprises a frame, a lumbar support device, and a cushion member. The cushion member comprises a main member and a pair of side members. The main member has a main pad, a main cover, and a main support member. The lumbar support device is attached to the frame and is capable of locally adjusting the forward pressure in the vertical direction. The main support member is formed in a frame shape and has a lower opening. Curved portions are formed on a side opening frame. A convex portion of the main pad contacts the curved portion in the state of being passed through the slit formed at the edge of the main cover and restrains the curved portion from moving in the outward direction in the seat width direction.

An upholstery piece of a motor vehicle, the upholstery piece including a chassis; a cushion arranged at the chassis; a textile cover at least partially covering and/or enveloping the cushion and including an attachment contour; and an attachment bar arranged at the textile cover and fixable at the chassis by the attachment contour, wherein the textile cover includes a thermoplastic material made from thermoplastic synthetic fibers, and wherein the thermoplastic material of the textile cover is compressed to form the attachment bar.
