A method produces a seat cover (2), which seat cover includes at least one body contact surface (7, 9) and seat cushion side surfaces (8.1, 8.2, 10.1, 10.2) which are adjacent thereto. A receiving element (4) is arranged in the region of the blank part (3.1, 3.2) on a raw material (1) prior to cutting a blank part (3.1, 3.2) for the seat cover (2), and is secured. The at least on body contact surface (7, 9) and the adjacent seat cushion side surfaces (8.1, 8.2, 10.1, 10.2) are cut from a raw material (1) as a single-piece blank part (3.1, 3.2) and are processed to form a seat cover (2).

Vehicle seating system and method

A vehicle seating system may include a seat part having a trim material positioned over a base material. A method for producing the seating system may include configuring an attachment arrangement to have an adhesive material and a non-adhesive material bonded to the adhesive material. The method may also include molding the base material onto the non-adhesive material such that a surface of the adhesive material faces outward away from the base material. The trim material may be disposed over the base material such that a back side of the trim material is adhered to the adhesive material.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat with a child seat may have an engagement member, comprising anchors to hold the child seat. Each anchor may have a pair of left and right side bars and a front bar coupled to the side bars. The front bars are engaged with the engagement member. The side bars are secured by brackets to a connecting pipe of the seat cushion or the seatback. Each recess may be made in a pad. A trim cover may have openings each above the recess. The engagement member may have a bifurcated shape and has a groove engaged with the front bar. The connecting members, having one end connected to a trim cover terminal behind the opening and the other end engaged with the bracket, may be wound around the connecting pipe and stretched between the bracket and the trim cover terminal, each drawing the terminal into the recess.

SEAT FRAME SIDE SHIELD WITH INTEGRAL MOUNTING BRIDGE

A side shield is provided for a seat frame. That side shield includes a body having a housing and an integral mounting bridge as well as a seat control switch assembly. The seat control switch assembly is held in an opening defined between the housing and the integral mounting bridge. In addition, a locator feature is carried on the integral mounting bridge. That locator feature receives a locator lug carried on the seat frame. A seat assembly is also provided.

SEAT

The present invention provides a seat which is unlikely to cause wrinkles or slack in a surface cover thereof, makes surface cover attachment and detachment simple, and is also capable of withstanding long-term use. To this end, a second fastening part 50 for attachably/detachably connecting a cushion material 2 and a surface cover 4 to one another is formed as a zipper in a seat 1.

VEHICLE SEAT BACKREST

A backrest of a vehicle seat includes an armature and an upholstery fixed to the armature. The upholstery has a slit for accommodating a headrest support rod by relative movement of the upholstery with respect to the armature in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle seat. The backrest further includes first and second trim elements. Each trim element forms a notch. The notches of the first and second trim elements define a passage for a headrest support rod. The second trim element partially covers the slit in the upholstery. The first and/or the second trim elements is/are in contact with the upholstery.
