Seating assembly for a vehicle with source of liquid sanitizer and nozzles to dispense liquid sanitizer onto exterior surface of seating assembly to sanitize the exterior surface
A vehicle comprises: a plurality of seating assemblies, each seating assembly including an exterior surface, an interior beneath the exterior surface, a pressured supply of liquid sanitizer disposed within the interior, and at least one valve in fluid communication with the pressurized supply of liquid sanitizer that opens to allow liquid sanitizer to be dispensed onto the exterior surface. Each of the at least one valve are selectively positionable to and from an open position where the liquid sanitizer flows through the valve to allow liquid sanitizer to be dispensed onto the exterior surface and a closed position where the liquid sanitizer cannot flow through the valve. A controller, configured to receive instructions from a user interface, communicates with each of the at least one valve to cause any particular valve to move to and from the open position and the closed position.
Smart cover for a vehicle seat and vehicle seat comprising such smart cover
A smart cover for a vehicle seat is provided that is able to detect biometric data of the user occupying the vehicle seat. A vehicle seat comprising the cover is also provided. The vehicle seat cover comprises one or more yarn sensors and one or more yarn supercapacitors. The yarn supercapacitors are being electrically connected to the yarn sensors for powering them. Accordingly, an arrangement for the detection of biometric data of the user occupying the vehicle seat is provided with the arrangement being integrated in the cover of the seat. As a result, the provision of the biometric data detection arrangement does not adversely affect the production time and complexity nor the overall weight of the cover of the vehicle seat.

A seatback subframe is swingable laterally of the vehicle with respect to a seatback main frame. A backrest is attached to the seatback subframe. Side airbag modules are attached to the seatback subframe at side edges.

The disclosure relates to a seat for a vehicle. The seat may have a seat structure having at least a backrest frame part adjustable between an initial position and at least an inclined position. The seat may also have a seat adjusting device having at least a number of linear actuators. Further, the disclosure relates to a seat mounting structure having such a seat.
Occupant support
An occupant support includes a seat frame and a seat pad coupled to the seat frame. The seat pad includes a cushion member fixed to the seat frame and an outer trim arranged to cover the cushion member. Portions of the outer trim are movable relative to the rest of the occupant support.

A seating assembly includes a seat base operably coupled with a seatback. A panel assembly includes a first panel coupled with the seatback and a second panel hingedly coupled with the first panel. The second panel includes a connector assembly having a housing and a support slidably coupled with the housing. The second panel is movable between a first position and a second position. The second panel is vertically aligned with the first panel in the first position and is substantially coplanar with the first panel in the second position.
Spacer panel for vehicle seat
A spacer panel for a rear side of a seat backrest of a vehicle includes a support structure having a first end and a second end with a tapered section extending from a first portion of the support structure to the first end of the support structure. The support structure is configured to be attached to the rear side of the backrest of the seat. The spacer panel has a honeycomb plastic structure with a thickness varying along a length of the support structure from the first end to the second end of the support structure. A gap hider is associated with the seat such that when the seat is folded, an outer surface of the spacer panel and an upper surface of the loading floor of the vehicle remains in line and oriented at the same angle forming an extended load floor and also providing support to the gap hider.

A method for fitting the cover may have at least the following steps: fitting the trim and the cap to form a preassembled subassembly, fitting the support on a seat frame of the vehicle seat, positioning an upholstered section on the seat frame, and inserting the subassembly through a through opening in the upholstered section into the support. An edge region of a covering of the upholstered section is clamped between the trim and the support. The subassembly may be fitted to the support.

The front panel has a window covered with a see-through screen for communicating the front seat with the rear seat.
