Multi layer seat with inserts
A vehicle seat including a seat assembly and an insert assembly. The seat assembly having a seat base portion, a backrest portion. The insert assembly includes upper inserts, lower inserts, and a lumbar cushion. The upper inserts are filled with a combination of a silicone anti-freezing solution and small extruded polystyrene packing balls. The lower inserts are filled with jelly. The upper and lower inserts are mounted within the seat base portion and backrest portion. The lumbar cushion is mounted inside the backrest portion. The conjunction of the lower insert, upper insert and lumbar cushion are configured to bring maximum comfort to a user. The upper inserts, lower inserts and lumbar cushion are configured to bring a user an exceptional stability and support without pressure applied to a tailbone.
CONVEYANCE SEAT
A conveyance seat capable of suppressing wrinkles or saggings from occurring on a surface of a seat main body is provided. A conveyance seat S includes a seat back and a movable body which is attached inside the seat back, is disposed at an outer position in relation to a center portion of the seat back, and is operated so that a side portion of the seat back protrudes toward a seated occupant side (seat front side). The movable body is disposed on a back surface of a cushion material in the side portion. An end portion (rear end portion) on the side opposite to the seated occupant side of the movable body is disposed on the seated occupant side (seat front side) in relation to a seating surface of the center portion of the seat back.
Vehicle seating system and methods thereof
A method for fabricating custom seat bolsters includes receiving a first image of a user in a first pose and a second image of the user in a second pose. The method further includes generating a 3D body scan model based on at least the first image of the user and the second image of the user. The method further includes determining a design for a set of seat bolsters for the user based on the 3D body scan model. The method further includes providing the set of seat bolsters for the user based on the determined design.
VEHICLE SEATING SYSTEMS
A side facing seat includes a seat back element and a moveable seat base element disposed below the seat back element. The moveable seat base element is moveable at least between a stored position and a seating position. Movement of the moveable seat base element is controlled by an activation element that is configured to engage with a locking mechanism such that the locking mechanism is able to lock the moveable seat base element in the stored position or the seating position.

A seat assembly may include a seat base and/or a seat back. The seat back may be connected to the seat base. The seat back may include a back panel having a plurality of external support members disposed in a grid configuration. The back panel may include a first portion, a second portion, and/or a third portion. The third portion may connect the second portion to the first portion. A method of assembling a seat assembly may include connecting the back panel with the seat back, and/or connecting the seat back to the seat base.

A seat for an amusement park attraction system includes a padding system and a base configured to support a guest. The padding system includes a first side that is guest-facing, a second side that is base-facing and opposite the first side, a first pad portion coupled to the base, and a second pad portion coupled to the base. The seat also includes a seam formed by an interface between a first end of the first pad portion and a second end of the second pad portion such that the seam defines an overlap of the first pad portion and the second pad portion along an axis extending from the first side to the second side of the padding system.

An adjustable vehicle seat including a seat frame forming a seat back, the seat frame being configured to couple with an aerospace vehicle, and a seat pan coupled to the seat frame, where one or more of the seat frame and the seat pan is configured to couple the seat pan to the seat frame in one of a plurality of positions relative to the seat frame so that an eye position of a seat occupant relative to instrumentation within the aerospace vehicle is decoupled from a size of the seat occupant.
