BACKREST
A backrest having features that support proper sitting posture of a user to improve back health and posture may be utilized. The backrest may include a front wall with wings extending to the left and right and diagonally forward to reduce Kyphosis of a user when sitting against the backrest. A combination of the front wall and wings may causing the user's (i) back ribs to be raised and gently tilted forward and (ii) thoracic spine region to be gently thrusted forward. By thrusting the thoracic spine region and raising and tilting the back ribs, a user's abdominal cavity may be expanded, and thereby reinforcing the ideal positioning of the cervical spine so that the user's head naturally positions on axis and does not “dump” forward.
Seat backrest
A seat backrest includes right and left side frame segments, a pressure receiving member disposed between the side frame segments movably in a front-back direction, and a cushion pad covering the front of the side frame segments and pressure receiving member. The pressure receiving member includes a main body part, and extending parts extending laterally from both sides of the main body part. The cushion pad includes a back receiving part covering the front of the main body part, and bank parts disposed on both sides of the back receiving part, protruding forward from both sides, and covering the front of the extending parts and side frame segments. A recess is formed at an area, facing a corresponding extending part of the extending parts, of a rear surface of each bank part.

Seat assembly having cushion supports with integrated air bladders for pneumatic activation
A seat assembly includes a cushioned component having a lattice matrix, wherein the lattice matrix includes a first portion defined by a first pattern of interconnected links which defines a first set of cells, and a second portion defined by a second pattern of interconnected links which defines a second set of cells. The first portion of the lattice matrix includes a density profile that is different than a density profile of the second portion of the lattice matrix. An air bladder is disposed within a core portion of the lattice matrix and includes a non-porous outer casing surrounding an interior cavity. The outer casing of the air bladder and the lattice matrix are integrated components comprised of a common material to define a monolithic structure created using an additive manufacturing process.

SEAT ADJUSTMENT
A computer includes a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to receive a series of pressure maps indicating a respective series of sitting positions of an occupant in a seat, wherein the pressure maps include a current pressure map; update a profile of the occupant based on the pressure maps, wherein the profile includes a plurality of clusters of sitting positions and classifications of the clusters as preferred or nonpreferred, and updating the profile includes sorting one of the sitting positions into one of the clusters that is classified as preferred in response to the occupant remaining in that sitting position for greater than a threshold time; and adjust a physical configuration of the seat in response to the current sitting position being in one of the clusters that is classified as nonpreferred.

Seat for Transport Vehicles
A seat (1) for transport vehicles with an articulated frame (2) capable of moving and changing shape between a neutral position N and a comfort position C, which comprises a headrest portion (21) mechanically linked by means of a connector (22) to a connection area of a backrest portion (23) that changes the height position thereof as the frame (2) moves from the neutral position N to the comfort position C thereof, the connector (22) being suitable for this change in height position to be transmitted, by means of mechanical drag, to the headrest portion (21), the headrest portion (21) being mechanically linked by means of an upper guide unit (31) of a guide system to the chassis (4) which is configured such that the inclination of both the headrest portion (21) and the backrest portion (23) increase the inclination thereof with respect to the vertical as the frame (2) moves from the neutral position N to the comfort position C thereof.
