A vehicle seat including: a seat body configured to seat an occupant; a pressing mechanism that is provided at the seat body and is switchable between a pressing state, in which the pressing mechanism presses against the pelvis of a seated occupant, and a non-pressing state, in which the pressing mechanism does not press against the pelvis of a seated occupant; and a control section configured to control the pressing mechanism, in a state in which an occupant is sitting on the seat body, so as to alternate repeatedly between the pressing state and the non-pressing state.

Conveyance seat
Provided is a conveyance seat capable of appropriately controlling the behavior of the pelvis (lumbar) of a seated occupant when an impact occurs, and thereby suppressing the generation of a compressive load on the spine of the seated occupant. This conveyance seat is provided with a seat cushion. The seat cushion has: a seat cushion frame; a cushion pad placed on the seat cushion frame; and a high-hardness portion provided below the cushion pad and higher in hardness than the material of the cushion pad. The high-hardness portion is disposed such that at least a part of the high-hardness portion overlaps a sinking suppression member in the vertical direction of the conveyance seat. The sinking suppression member is provided in the seat cushion frame or a vehicle body so that sinking of a seated occupant is suppressed. The sinking suppression member is disposed below the high-hardness portion.
Conveyance seat
Provided is a conveyance seat capable of appropriately controlling the behavior of the pelvis (lumbar) of a seated occupant when an impact occurs, and thereby suppressing the generation of a compressive load on the spine of the seated occupant. This conveyance seat is provided with a seat cushion. The seat cushion has: a seat cushion frame; a cushion pad placed on the seat cushion frame; and a high-hardness portion provided below the cushion pad and higher in hardness than the material of the cushion pad. The high-hardness portion is disposed such that at least a part of the high-hardness portion overlaps a sinking suppression member in the vertical direction of the conveyance seat. The sinking suppression member is provided in the seat cushion frame or a vehicle body so that sinking of a seated occupant is suppressed. The sinking suppression member is disposed below the high-hardness portion.
SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTING THE POSITION OF AN AUTOMOTIVE SEAT
A system for adjusting a position of an automotive seat has one or more memory units for storing at least one predetermined position of the automotive seat associated with a predefined road type, a road region of a territory, or a predefined driving condition, a positioning system for geographic positioning of a vehicle or devices for monitoring vehicle dynamics, and a control system for controlling actuating devices for moving the automotive seat, or at least a part thereof. The control system is configured to identify a road type, a road region of travel of or a driving condition of the vehicle, to select a predetermined position of the automotive seat according to the road type, the road region of travel or the driving condition, and to control movement of the automotive seat or at least a part thereof to reach the selected position of the automotive seat.

The invention relates to a seating frame for a vehicle seat, the frame comprising a back frame component for supporting a back rest, wherein the back frame component includes a plurality of interconnected reinforcing ribs that form a single unit, and wherein the seating frame is a one-piece injection-molded part made of plastic material. The invention also relates to a process of making such a seating frame. Furthermore, the invention relates to a vehicle seat comprising such a seating frame, and a vehicle comprising such a vehicle seat or such a seating frame.

It is provided an adjusting device for a seat element of a vehicle seat supporting a body part of a seat user, with at least one driving device comprising a spindle drive and at least one adjustable support element for changing the contour or position of the seat element, wherein the spindle drive comprises a spindle extending along a spindle axis, which is floatingly mounted at a spindle end via a spindle holder such that at this spindle end the spindle is displaceable along at least one spatial direction extending transversely to the spindle axis. The spindle holder comprises a first and a second compensating element for a displaceability of the spindle end with respect to two first and second spatial directions extending approximately perpendicularly to each other and each perpendicularly to the spindle axis.
