Method for assembling a transmission component for a seat height adjustment
The invention relates to a method for assembling a transmission component of a seat height adjustment on a seat frame of a motor vehicle seat, which comprises the method steps of positioning a housing component relative to a part of the seat frame, fixing the housing component to the part of the seat frame and fastening the housing component to the part of the seat frame.
Composite structure with a reinforced link
A composite structure comprising a substantially planar portion and a border arranged on the border of the substantially planar portion. A first linking zone is arranged at one end of the border along a first axis and a second linking zone is arranged at another end of the border along the first axis. The border further comprises a reinforcing zone connecting the first and second linking zones, in that the border has a profile transverse to the first axis that is substantially U-shaped opening on a side opposite the substantially planar portion and in that the border is reinforced by at least one rib substantially parallel to a second axis perpendicular to the first axis and included in the plane of the portion.
Seat assembly
A seat assembly includes a first seatback and a second seatback. The first seatback may include a first seatback upper portion and a first seatback lower portion. The second seatback may include a second seatback upper portion and a second seatback lower portion. The seat assembly may further include an intermediate back section including an intermediate upper portion and an intermediate lower portion. The first seatback lower portion and the second seatback lower portion may be arranged on opposite sides of the intermediate lower portion. The seat assembly may also include a carrier frame to which the first seatback upper portion, the second seatback upper portion, and the intermediate upper portion may be connected. At least one of the first seatback upper portion, the second seatback lower portion, and the intermediate upper portion may be adjustably connected to the carrier frame.
Seat frame side member
A seat frame side member includes a frame body and a structural attachment point configured to connect a seat feature to the seat frame side member. The structural attachment point includes a projection extending from the frame body to a distal end. The projection includes a seat feature receiving portion at the distal end of the projection and a seat feature seating portion between the seat feature receiving portion and the frame body, and the seat feature receiving portion has a cross-sectional thickness that is different from a cross-sectional thickness of the seat feature seating portion. The seat frame side member can have an anisotropic microstructure with a plurality of layers built by additive manufacturing.
SEAT FRAME
A seat frame includes a cushion frame, a back frame, a recliner plate, a bracket arranged to be in contact with a side surface of each cushion side frame, a nut, an end nut, a bolt, and an end bolt. The bracket includes a nut fixing portion and a pipe fixing portion. The bolt is fixed to the nut in a state of being inserted through a bolt hole and a bolt insertion hole. The end bolt is fixed to the end nut in a state of being inserted through an end bolt hole.
SEAT BACK PANEL
A seat back panel may have a panel having a central portion bounded by an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion may have an upper attachment member adapted to selectively receive a portion of a framework for a seat. The central portion may have a least one side attachment member adapted to selectively receive a portion of the framework. the central portion may have a concave shape. The lower portion may have a convex shape. The concave shape and the convex shape may give the panel a general S-shape.
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A seating assembly includes a seatback frame movable between a reclined position, an upright position, and a folded position and having opposing sides defining a central space. Each opposing side includes a non-linear front edge and a non-linear rear edge. A pivot assembly includes a first plate pivotally coupled with the seatback frame. The first plate includes a forward stop. A second plate is pivotally coupled with the first plate and is fixedly coupled with a seat base frame. The second plate includes a post configured to selectively contact the forward stop. A panel is configured to be coupled with the seatback frame to cover the central space and form a planar surface along the seatback frame. The panel includes upper retention hooks and side retention hooks configured to be engaged with the seatback frame.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR SEATING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly is provided that includes a seatback and a seat that includes a seat frame and a support assembly. The support assembly is coupled to the seat frame and movable between an elevated position and a flattened position in response to an actuation force applied on the support assembly. The support assembly includes an extension member having a first end fixedly coupled to the seat frame and a second end rotatably coupled to the seat frame, and a plate having a first side rotatably coupled to the seat frame and a second side slidably coupled to the seat frame.
CONNECTION ARRANGEMENT FOR TUBULAR MEMBERS
A connection arrangement for tubular members may include a latch arrangement having a latch hook attached to a first tubular member and a striker arrangement attached to a second tubular member. The striker arrangement may include a transverse member extending transverse to the length of the second tubular member. The transverse member may be positioned proximate to the latch hook when an end of the first tubular member is positioned adjacent to an end of the second tubular member such that rotation of the latch hook engages the transverse member and effects a clamping force between the first tubular member and the second tubular member in a direction transverse to the rotational axis of the latch hook.
Side-by-side vehicle
The present invention relates to a replacement seat for utility vehicles configured to couple to the frame of the utility vehicle without modifications and/or additional parts.
