The side frame 10 has an overlapping part 40 where both the first side frame piece 20 and the second side frame piece 30 overlap each other. At the overlapping part 40, the side frame pieces overlap each other in a state where a plurality of closed regions 41 and 42 closed by being surrounded by both side frame pieces are formed in a cross section of the overlapping part 40 intersecting with the direction of extension of the side frame 10.

The present invention relates to a sliding device (1) for a vehicle seat. The sliding device comprises a pair of parallel slideways (3a, 3b), each of which comprises a lower rail (5a, 5b), an upper rail (7a, 7b) slidably mounted to the lower rail and a latch (21a, 21b) for allowing/preventing a movement of the upper rail relative to the lower rail; a releasing member (29) is provided for driving said latches to a position in which the upper rails are free to move relative to the lower rails. According to the invention, each latch (21a, 21b) comprises a rear portion which is bent into a “U”-like shape and comprises a lower leg carrying latching elements (37a, 37b) configured to cooperate with corresponding latching elements (41a, 41b) provided in the lower rail and an upper leg configured to engage the releasing member (29). The design of the latches of the sliding device of the invention allows to improve the reliability of said sliding device.

At least one rocker is mounted rotatably about an axis, and a toothed segment which may be connected to the at least one rocker may be provided. The vehicle seat may have a drive for moving the at least one rocker, and the drive may be mounted on a seat frame. A pinion of the drive may mesh with the toothed segment. By aligning the position of the entire drive relative to the side part via a compensating body, the pinion may be positioned relative to the toothed segment in a manner free from play.

A bracket for attaching an actuator is easily bonded to a side frame while avoiding interference with a shaft for driving a reclining mechanism. In a seat side frame which is provided at each of both ends of a seat back frame in the width direction, a reclining mechanism, and an actuator, the reclining mechanism is attached to a side wall of the side frame, and the actuator is fixed to an attachment bracket bonded to an inner surface of a portion to which the reclining mechanism is attached in the side wall in the width direction. An upper portion which is disposed above the attachment portion of the reclining mechanism and a lower portion which is disposed below the attachment portion thereof are connected to each other at the rear ends thereof and are separated from each other at the front ends thereof.

The blower (100) is located on the lower side of the seat cushion pad (seat body) that is opposite to an occupant's side on which an occupant is to be seated, and the inlet port (113) is directed upward that is a direction toward the seat cushion pad (seat body).

A frame for a vehicle seat, wherein the frame has two side elements and two transverse elements, wherein the transverse elements each connect two opposite free ends of the side elements to one another, with at least one flexible tension member that is tensioned diagonally across the frame in such a manner that a first end of the tension member is attached to one of the side elements and a second end of the tension member is attached to the other side element. Provision is made that at least one of the side elements has a projection that is associated with an attachment point of the tension member on the side element and that deflects the tension member, by which means the tension member is tensioned during attachment at the attachment point.

Vehicle seat track system

A track system for a vehicle seat includes a lower track with a slide block with lateral slide bar extending along an upper surface of the lower track. The slide block includes a cross web system connecting the first slide bars with a central cross web portion, a forward cross web portion and a rearward cross web portion. A lower track to slide block fastening system includes a central fastener fixing the central cross web portion to the lower track in lateral and longitudinal directions and allowing movement in a direction away from the lower track, a forward fastener fixing the forward cross web portion in the direction away from the lower track and allowing movement in longitudinal directions and a rearward fastener fixing the rearward cross web portion in the direction away from the lower track and allowing movement in the longitudinal directions.
