Herein, the bracket is fixed to the cover member with the seat back frame being held between the bracket and the cover member.

At least one head restraint post is mounted to the first bracket or the second bracket and spaced apart from the seatback frame so that upon a rear vehicle impact, the second bracket deforms as the at least one head restraint post is translated toward the seatback frame.

One of the first and second guide members is received in translation along the first axis by the other of the first and second guide members to connect the second frame to the first frame. The rail has two non-parallel sets of corrugations on its external face. The seat interface, which is adapted to be mounted to a seat frame, is also provided with two non-parallel sets of corrugations whose angle matches that of the sets of corrugations on the rail. The sets of corrugations are adapted to cooperate and interlock in pairs so as to respectively locate the seat interface, and thereby a seat to which it is attached, vertically and horizontally upon the fastener being tightened.
