Lightweight Seat for Vehicles
A lightweight seat for vehicles, in particular for rear seats of motor vehicles, has a carrier part, wherein the carrier part is produced from a dimensionally stable material and integrally includes at least one seat shell for a seat user.
MODULAR MONOCOQUE BACKREST
A modular monocoque backrest is provided. The modular monocoque backrest may comprise a front shroud, a back shroud, and an at least one back spar. The front shroud may be coupled to the back shroud, and the back spar may be configured as a mounting point, enabling the modular monocoque backrest to mount to an aircraft floor. The front shroud and the back shroud may comprise a carbon fiber composite material, allowing the modular monocoque backrest to be modular in nature. The carbon fiber composite material may enable the modular monocoque backrest to have a lightweight design while also maintaining resistance to dynamic crash loads.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seatback. The seatback includes a main frame and a sub-frame suspended from the main frame. The sub-frame is configured to swivel with respect to the main frame. The sub-frame includes a first lateral member, a second lateral member separated from the first lateral member by a distance, and a reinforcement member coupling the first lateral member with the second lateral member.
VEHICLE SEAT
A seatback of a vehicle seat includes a seatback frame and a backrest attached to the seatback frame. The backrest includes a first supporting area configured to receive a load of a shoulder of the occupant, and a second supporting area configured to receive a load of a spine area of the occupant. Support stiffness in the first supporting area for a vertical load is lower than that in the second supporting area. Support stiffness in the second supporting area for a shearing load is higher than that in the first supporting area.
VEHICLE SEAT
Provided is a vehicle seat that has a relatively simple structure and can hold passenger's scapulae and surrounding body area even when the angle of the backrest is tilted down. A vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion forming a sitting surface of the seat; and a seat back provided at a back of the seat cushion and serving as a backrest of the seat, the seat back including: a first tippable portion provided so that an angle of the seat back to a seat frame forming a framework of the seat is adjustable; and a second tippable portion pivotally provided at an upper side of the first tippable portion, wherein when the first tippable portion is tipped toward a rear of a vehicle, the second tippable portion abuts against a projecting portion provided at the seat frame and is thus protruded from the first tippable portion.
COMPOSITE SEAT STRUCTURE
A vehicle seating assembly is provided that includes a seatback and a seat base operably connected to the seatback. The seat base includes a seat base frame having a rear tube extending laterally between at least two side members, a seat cushion assembly, and a composite seat pan positioned between the seat cushion assembly and the seat base frame and having a plurality of recessed features configured to couple over the rear tube and side members. The seat pan integrally defines a flexible cross bar extending laterally between the recessed features. A plurality of hooks integrally defined by the seat pan are operably coupled to the seat cushion assembly.
SEATBACK PANEL
A seatback panel forms a seatback which is configured to be selectable between a rising-up position and a falling-down position. The seatback panel is made of a metal-made plate material, and embossed portions and bead portions surrounding the embossed portions are formed in areas at its flat face. The bead portions are provided to protrude on one side of the panel and the embossed portions are provided to protrude on the other side of the panel. A protrusion height of the bead portion is configured to be different from a protrusion height of the embossed portion. Either one of the bead portion and the embossed-portion which has a smaller projection height is configured to protrude on a back-face side of the panel having the rising-up position.
Conveyance seat
Provided is a conveyance seat including a lateral support portion that provides good appearance. A lateral support portion of a seat back includes a base member that defines an outline of the lateral support portion and a surface cover arranged to cover the base member to form an outer surface of the lateral support portion. The surface cover includes multiple surface cover pieces interfaced with each other to form the surface cover and a strip-shaped body that extends out of the interface between the surface cover pieces in a reverse side portion of the surface cover. In a state where the surface cover covers the base member, the strip-shaped body is pulled toward a side of the base member opposite to that on which the interface is positioned with respect to the base member.
Reclining seat assembly
A reclining seat assembly includes a seat frame, and a backrest frame supported by the seat frame for pivoting movement about a backrest pivot axis. A seat pan has a forward portion supported by the seat frame for relative longitudinal movement, for example, using a slider. The seat pan has a rearward portion that is pivotally supported along a rear seat pan axis by a lower extension of the backrest frame, such that the backrest frame reclines relative to the seat frame upon forward longitudinal movement of the rear seat pan pivot axis relative to the seat frame. A backrest recline angle adjuster on the seat frame, such as a pair of linear actuators respectively coupling the seat frame to each side of the backrest frame along an actuator pivot axis that is itself offset from the backrest pivot axis, maintains a selected position of the rear seat pan support axis relative to the seat frame to thereby achieve a desired backrest inclination.
Composite structure with reinforced link
A composite structure comprising a substantially planar portion and a border arranged on the border of the substantially planar portion. A first linking zone arranged at one end of the border along a first axis and able to accommodate a first metal insert and a second linking zone arranged at another end of the border along the first axis and able to accommodate a second metal insert symmetrical to the first metal insert. An insert comprises a substantially planar base arranged perpendicular to the first axis and comprising, substantially at a center of the substantially planar base, a piercing. A first substantially planar wing is arranged perpendicular to the substantially planar base and a second substantially planar wing arranged perpendicular to the substantially planar base and the first substantially planar wing.
