SEAT BACK FRAME FOR AUTOMOBILE
A seat back frame for automobile includes a first side frame and a second side frame that are arranged apart from each other in a vehicle width direction, an upper frame that connects an upper end portion of the first side frame and an upper end portion of the second side frame, and an upper bracket that is attached to the upper end portion of the first side frame and guides a seat belt. The first side frame includes a columnar member made of an aluminum alloy extruded material and having a closed cross-section portion in a cross-section perpendicular to a vehicle vertical direction, and a plate-shaped reinforcing member made of high-tension steel, joined to the columnar member, and extending to a vehicle rear side of the columnar member.
SEAT BACK FRAME FOR AUTOMOBILE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A seat back frame for automobile includes a first side frame and a second side frame that are arranged apart from each other in a vehicle width direction, an upper frame that connects an upper end portion of the first side frame and an upper end portion of the second side frame, and an upper bracket that is attached to the upper end portion of the first side frame and guides a seat belt. The first side frame is an extruded material extending in a vehicle vertical direction, and has a fixed lower end portion. The first side frame has a closed cross-section portion in a cross-section perpendicular to the vehicle vertical direction. The upper end portion of the first side frame is crushed rearward of a vehicle, and a thickness of the upper end portion in a vehicle front-rear direction is smaller than that of the lower end portion.
Sitting concept for autonomous driving with increased comfort aspects in a sandwich construction
A seat for a motor vehicle includes a basic shell and a seat surface. The seat surface includes a vacuum layer and an air cushion layer; and the air cushion layer is arranged between the vacuum layer and the basic shell. Also disclosed is a motor vehicle having such a seat.
Columnar body, seat frame, and vehicle seat
A columnar body including: plural elongated plate shaped panel members extending in one direction; and plural weld portions where two width direction end portions of respective panel members out of the plural panel members are welded together to configure a closed cross-section.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat capable of exhibiting both performances of regulating an input of a load and reducing vibration is provided. One aspect of the present disclosure is a vehicle seat including a coupling structure coupling a first member and a second member. The coupling structure includes a bolt inserted through the first member and the second member, an auxiliary member arranged so as to hold the first member between the auxiliary member and the second member in an axial direction of the bolt, a first elastic element arranged between the first member and the second member in the axial direction, the first elastic element being in contact with the first member and the second member, and a second elastic element arranged between the first member and the auxiliary member in the axial direction, the second elastic element being in contact with the first member and the auxiliary member.
Frame structure for a vehicle seat backrest
A frame structure (5) for a vehicle seat backrest (3), said frame structure (5) comprising a centre frame (18) and a side frame (14), said centre frame (18) and said side frame (14) extending in a longitudinal (x), transversal (y) and vertical (z) direction, respectively, said longitudinal (x), transversal (y) and vertical (z) directions being perpendicular to each other and corresponding to a longitudinal, transversal and vertical direction, respectively, of a vehicle. Said frame structure (5) further comprises a lower connection (7) which is adapted to interconnect said centre frame (18) and said side frame (14) and which is located at or adjacent to a lower end of said frame structure (5) in said vertical direction (z).
MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING AT LEAST ONE DRIVER'S SEAT
A motor vehicle (1) has a driver’s seat (8) which is assigned a safety belt (20) for a driver. The safety belt (20) here is held on a pivotable bracket (13). This bracket (13) is pivotable between a releasing position, which permits entry, and a restraining position, which protects the driver. The bracket (13) here is disposed in such a manner that said bracket (13) in the releasing position holds the safety belt (20) in a position in which the latter impedes the driver. In order to avoid any impediment of the driver in the restraining position of the bracket (13), the bracket (13) above the driver’s seat is elbowed away from the latter. (
REAR SEATING FOR UTILITY VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a frame and a plurality of seats supported by the frame including at least one front seat and at least one rear seat. The at least one rear seat includes a seat back and a seat base, the seat back and the seat base being moveable between a lowered position and a raised position. The raised position is defined by the seat back and the seat base of the at least one rear seat being positioned at a first vertical height. The lowered position is defined by the seat back and the seat base of the at least one rear seat being positioned longitudinally rearward of the at last one front seat and at a second vertical height, the first vertical height being greater than the second vertical height.
Visibility enhancements for delivery vehicle
A vehicle includes a chassis defining a longitudinal axis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a cargo body coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab, and a driver seat disposed within the cab. The cab has a first door with a first window and a second door with a second window. When the driver seat is in a position that accommodates an operator being in the 95.sup.th male height percentile, the operator within the driver seat can see out of (i) the first window at a first angle relative to a forward looking direction that is parallel with the longitudinal axis and (ii) the second window at a second angle relative to the forward looking direction. Each of the first angle and the second angle is at least 95 degrees.
Safety belt positioning and presentation systems
A safety belt presentation system includes a safety belt presentation track extending from a first position to a second position spaced from the first position, a latch that includes a tongue disposed between a first side of the latch and second side of the latch and a first coupling portion, and a driving mechanism that includes a second coupling portion configured to releasably couple the first coupling portion of the latch. The driving mechanism is configured to control the latch to move from the first position to the second position along the safety belt presentation track when the first and second coupling portions are coupled.
