In a vehicle seat, a movable frame tiltably connected to a seat back is provided with an impact absorbing property. The vehicle seat comprises a seat back frame, and a movable frame connected to the seat back frame via a reclining mechanism so as to be tiltable around a laterally extending rotational axial line and to correspond to an upper back portion of an occupant, the movable frame being provided with a first weakened portion configured to be a starting point of deformation when an external load exceeding a prescribed value is applied to the movable frame.

VEHICLE SEAT

A seat cushion part includes a base fabric extending between and looped around a front edge frame and a rear edge frame, and having an upper layer part and a lower layer part which are provided apart from each other in an up-down direction. Wire members of metal are provided respectively on side edge portions of the base fabric, and coil springs are spring members each extending between an end portion of the wire member and the front edge frame or the rear edge frame. A load further applied due to vibration, impact, and so on causes the upper layer part to come into contact with the lower layer part to also displace the lower layer part in the up-down direction. Consequently, the coil springs connected through the wire members extend/contract, and their elastic force acts.

SEAT FRAME FOR A SEAT ARRANGEMENT OF A VEHICLE

Seat frame for a seat arrangement of a vehicle having a seat substructure, a seat surface supporting structure, an attachment structure and a backrest supporting structure. The seat substructure is arranged on a vehicle floor and the seat surface supporting structure fastens a seat surface element of the seat arrangement thereto. The seat surface supporting structure is movable on the seat substructure and/or on the attachment structure. The backrest supporting structure fastens a backrest element of the seat arrangement thereto. The backrest supporting structure is pivotably movable on the seat substructure. The backrest supporting structure is pivotable out of a first use position of the seat frame into a second use position of the seat frame. In the second use position, the backrest supporting structure acts on the seat surface supporting structure and forces the seat surface supporting structure out of the first use position into the second use position.

SEAT BELT DEVICE

In the present invention, a seatbelt device is provided with: a seat state determination unit that determines the state of a sea a movable support section that supports a seatbelt within a range of possible movement on a seat back; a movement mechanism that, with a motor moves the movable support section within the range of possible movement; and a motor control unit that controls the motor in accordance with the usage state of the seat determined by the seat state determination unit. Due to this configuration, the position of the seatbelt is made optimal for an occupant, and the comfort of the occupant is thus improved.

Shoulder belt guide for a vehicle seating assembly

A seatback for a seating assembly of a vehicle comprising: a top portion; a headrest extending above the top portion; and a first shoulder belt guide disposed adjacent the top portion, fastened to the seatback, and configured to accept and retain a first shoulder belt of an occupant restraint assembly. The seatback further comprises a boss receiver and the first shoulder belt guide includes a first boss. The first boss is disposed within the boss receiver. A fastener can be disposed through the boss receiver and into the boss of the first shoulder belt guide disposed in the boss receiver to fasten the first shoulder belt guide to the seatback. The first shoulder belt guide is disposed adjacent the top portion to a first side of a midline of the seatback. A second shoulder belt guide can be disposed adjacent the top portion to a second side of the midline.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat includes: a seat back; and a seat cushion including: a first side frame; a second side frame; a front frame connecting front end portions of the first side frame and the second side frame to each other; and a rear frame connecting rear end portions of the first side frame and the second side frame to each other. The first side frame includes: a frame member including a closed sectional shape part between the front frame and the rear frame; a first reinforcing member being provided between the front frame and the rear frame to pass through an inner side wall and an outer side wall, and being joined with the inner side wall and the outer side wall; and a connection member connecting an end portion of the first reinforcing member with at least one frame of the front frame and the rear frame.
