Adjustable headrest and seatbelt web guide

A seatback for a seating assembly of a vehicle comprising: a seat frame; an exterior surface at least partially covering the seat frame; an adjustable headrest operably connected to the seat frame having a raised position and a lowered position relative to the seat frame; and a seatbelt web guide, connected to the adjustable headrest beneath the exterior surface, having a raised and lowered position relative to the exterior surface adjacent the seatbelt web guide; wherein, moving the adjustable headrest from the lowered position to the raised position causes the seatbelt web guide to move from the lowered position to the raised position. The adjustable headrest can include a support element operably connecting the adjustable headrest to the seat frame, the support element at least partially disposed beneath the exterior surface. The seatbelt web guide is operably connected to the support element of the adjustable headrest beneath the exterior surface.

SEATBELT WEBBING GUIDE

A restraint system includes a webbing-guide shell including a guide portion and a sloping portion, and a member reinforcing the sloping portion. The guide portion includes a slot and an opening from the slot through the guide portion, and the sloping portion includes a top surface sloping downwardly in a vehicle-inboard direction. The material of the member is stronger than the material of the webbing-guide shell.

VISIBILITY ENHANCEMENTS FOR DELIVERY VEHICLE

A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle body defining a driver compartment having a door with a window and a driver seat disposed within the driver compartment. When the driver seat is in a position that accommodates an operator being in a 95.sup.th male height percentile, the operator within the driver seat can see out of the window at an angle of at least 95 degrees relative to a forward looking direction that is parallel with a longitudinal axis of the vehicle body.

Door lock assembly for delivery vehicle

A vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a cargo body coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab, a door coupled to the cab and selectively repositionable relative to the chassis between an open position and a closed position, and a door lock assembly configured to selectively prevent movement of the door from the closed position to the open position. The door lock assembly defines a key aperture configured to receive a key. The door lock assembly is coupled to the cab, and wherein the key aperture is positioned forward of the door.

Safety Seat for Emergency Vehicles

Described herein is a safety seat for emergency vehicles including a structure including a generally L-shaped column defining a backrest structure and a seat structure; a transversal element provided at a junction of the backrest structure and the seat structure.

Seat and seat mounting structure

A headrest adjusting device for headrest adjustment with respect to a backrest may have a headrest mounting bracket and a slide device movable mounted on the headrest mounting bracket. The headrest mounting bracket may have a seat belt retainer movable mounted on the headrest mounting bracket. A seat structure for a vehicle seat may also have the headrest adjusting device.

The disclosure provides for a system that includes a seat mounted in a vehicle. The seat includes a base, a back support, a hinge, and a seat belt integrated into the seat. The back support is capable of rotating relative to the base and thereby reclining. The hinge is between the base and the back support and is configured to lock the back support in positions in relation to the base. The seat belt has a shoulder portion and a lap portion and is attached to the seat at a shoulder anchor in the back support and a base anchor in the base. When a generated torque, created from a forward force applied by the shoulder portion of the seat belt, exceeds a threshold amount of torque, the hinge is configured to unlock and back support is configured to rotate forward from a reclined position towards an upright position.

Apparatus for retaining a seat belt

Embodiments of the present invention provide a seat belt retainer for a vehicle, the retainer comprising a body having an opening, the body being configured for attachment to a support. An actuator is mounted within the opening, the actuator being moveable within the opening for actuating a seat latch mechanism. A guide is supported by the body, the guide defining an at least partial aperture for receiving a seat belt therethrough. The actuator and the guide are at least partly aligned along the longitudinal axis of the seat belt passing through the aperture, in use.

CONTROL ASSEMBLY FOR SEAT BELT RETRACTOR AND VEHICLE SEAT

Provided is a control assembly (3) for a seat belt retractor, the control assembly comprising a first electric motor (31), a second electric motor (32), a control module (33), a third electric motor (34) and a retractor (35), wherein the control module (33) is separately connected to the first electric motor (31), the second electric motor (32) and the third electric motor (34), and collects rotation signals of the first electric motor (31) and the second electric motor (32) and outputs a compensation signal to the third electric motor (34); the rotation of the first electric motor (31) and the rotation of the second electric motor (32) are both related to the angle of the retractor (35); and the third electric motor (34) is connected to the retractor (35) and directly compensates the angle of the retractor (35).
