TEXTILE CLIP
Presented is a releasable clip assembly operable to secure a cushion to a supporting surface, the assembly having a male component which is received in a first axis in a chassis of a female component. The clip assembly also has one or more engagement elements configurable into an open configuration to admit the male component and operable to return to a closed configuration to engage the received male component to secure it in the chassis, and one or more release elements operable when actuated transversely to the first axis to allow the engagement elements to be configured in the open configuration to release the male component.
Orthopedic cushion for a seat
An orthopedic seat cushion for placement on a seat for supporting the weight of an occupant includes an envelope comprising an upper sheet and a lower sheet sealed together to define an interior volume. The interior volume is subdivided into a plurality of depressible cells wherein adjacent cells are in fluid communication with one another. The envelope has an opening penetrated through the upper sheet and lower sheet, wherein the opening has a front end and a back end and is configured to allow clearance for a sensitive area of the occupant. At least one cell has a height dimension that inhibits the sensitive area from contacting the seat when the at least one cell is depressed by the weight of the occupant.
Hip Alignment Device
A hip alignment device configured to properly cushion and align a user's hips while seated. The hip alignment device includes a first cushion and a second cushion connected to one another via an elongated strap. Each cushion has a concave inner surface adapted to be positioned against the outer portion of a user's thighs or hips. The inner surface further includes one or more rounded ridges thereon. The inner side of the cushion is configured to be positioned flush against the side of a user's thigh or hip, whereas an outer side of the cushion is configured to be placed against a portion of a vehicle, such as a vehicle door or the center console so as to secure the cushion in position.
MODULAR SQUAB CUSHION, AND SEAT ASSEMBLY COMPRISING SUCH A CUSHION
The present disclosure relates to a modular squab cushion, configured to be attached to a seat structure having a squab structure comprising two lateral flanges spaced apart by a front transverse tube and a rear transverse tube, the modular squab cushion comprising, in the assembled state: a support, a padding resting on an upper surface of the support, a covering which covers the padding, and wherein the mechanical interface system comprises: a rear mechanical interface on a rear portion of the base, comprising a first open housing, configured to house the rear tube, in a manner mechanically lockable by a locking system, a front mechanical interface on a front part of the support, comprising a second open housing, configured to house the front tube pivotably around the front tube.
Back pad assembly for a material handling vehicle
A back pad assembly for a material handling vehicle is provided that includes a back pad, a framework, and a mounting frame. The back pad includes a center portion, a first side portion, and a second side portion. The first side portion defines a first curved profile, and the second side portion defines a second curved profile. The first curved profile and the second curved profile are arranged on laterally-opposing sides of the center portion. The framework includes a first mounting bar and a second mounting bar. The framework is coupled to the back pad. The first and second mounting bars are adjustably supported by the mounting frame to enable the back pad to be selectively mounted at varying heights along the mounting frame.
Apparatus for Securing a Transit Seat
A device for locking a seat pan to a seat frame includes a housing, a latch, and a securing member. The housing is adapted to be secured to the seat pan. The latch includes a substantially planar portion and a shaped portion. The securing member secures the latch in the housing such that the latch is moveable between a resting position and a compressed position. The latch is adapted to move to the compressed position when the seat is urged into the seat frame, and, if urged further, to return to the resting position to entrap the cross member between the shaped portion and the seat pan.
DEPLOYABLE TOUCH FASTENER
Embodiments related to a touch fastener and its methods of manufacture and use are disclosed. In one embodiment, the touch fastener may include a substrate with a first portion and a second portion displaceable relative to the first portion. A first fastening element may be formed in the first portion. When the first portion is displaced relative to the second portion, a force and/or moment generated by the displacement may cause the first fastening element to be deployed.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat for providing seating for an occupant within a vehicle may include an anchoring mechanism and a reversible seat cushion. The reversible seat cushion may be configured to be reversible between a seating position and a storage position and to be removable from and attachable to the anchoring mechanism in each of the seating position and the storage position. The reversible seat cushion may include a seating side and a storage side. In the seating position, the seating side may be exposed to provide support beneath the occupant and the storage side is concealed. In the storage position, the storage side may be exposed to provide a storage area and the seating side is concealed.
Imbedded sensors for passenger seats
Described are passenger seat assemblies having a first seat structure (222) that includes a non-contact sensor or sensors (106a) and a second, movable or deployable passenger seat structure (226) that contains an embedded magnetic element or elements (236a). Each magnetic element interacts with the non-contact sensor such that the embedded magnetic element causes the non-contact sensor (106a) to switch between a first state and the second state, depending on the orientation of the second structure (226) with respect to the first structure (222). The sensor can detect whether the second passenger seat structure is positioned in a stowed configuration or a deployed configuration.
CONVEYANCE SEAT
A conveyance seat including a support member that allows efficient separation work when a pad material is separated from a frame includes an armrest that supports a seated occupant. The armrest includes an armrest frame and a first armrest pad that covers the armrest frame. The first armrest pad includes a body portion that is located between the armrest frame and a support surface, and that receives a load of the seated occupant, and an attachment portion which protrudes from the body portion in a direction separating from the support surface, and in which an engagement portion that engages with the armrest frame is formed.
