Seating suspension diaphragm having integrated slide-in attachment means
A method of upholstering a seat having a seating frame, and a corresponding attachment assembly, comprises providing a diaphragm generally having a weave of warp and weft yarns with an attachment member for installation of the diaphragm to the seat. The attachment member comprises an adapter strip and a coil member. The coil member is adapted to be intertwined with the weave of the diaphragm and thereafter inserted into and held by the channel in the seating frame. The adapter strip may be connected to the coil member to facilitate feeding the assembly through the channel in the seating frame. Alternately, the adapter strip can replace the channel in the seating frame and instead provide a mounting structure to which the diaphragm can be attached through the coil member's engagement with the adapter strip. A retainer sheet may also be used to maintain a desired tension of the diaphragm during installation.
Conveyance seat and conveyance seat manufacturing method
Provided is a conveyance seat with which the assemblability of a wire member with respect to a seat frame can be improved. A conveyance seat includes a seat frame. The seat frame has: a pair of side frames arranged in side portions of the conveyance seat; and a cross-linking frame cross-linking the pair of side frames, a wire member is disposed between the pair of side frames, the cross-linking frame has a wire receiving portion receiving the wire member, and the wire member is fastened to the wire receiving portion.
VEHICLE INTERIOR EQUIPMENT
A vehicle interior equipment including: a contact portion contactable with a human body; and an outer shape member including: receiving portions; a hinge portion connecting adjacent receiving portions; and an outer or inner side deformable portion, in which a shape of the contact portion is changed to the following (a) or (b) by contraction or extension of the outer or inner side deformable portion: (a) the outer shape of the contact portion being made concave by bending the hinge portion so that the adjacent receiving portions are close to each other on the outer side; and (b) the outer shape of the contact portion being made convex by bending the hinge portion so that the adjacent receiving portions are close to each other on the inner side, and in which the inner or outer side deformable portion maintains the changed outer shape even without contacting with human body.
VEHICLE BUCKET SEAT, IN PARTICULAR FOR A MOTOR RACING VEHICLE
A vehicle bucket seat (1) has a seat face (2) and a backrest (3). The backrest (3) has a shoulder support (4) and a head support (5). The shoulder support (4) has a shoulder rest (14) and right and left shoulder flanks (24) arranged to the right and left of the shoulder rest (14) in a laterally projecting manner. The head support (5) has a headrest (15) and right and left head flanks (25) arranged to the right and left of the headrest (15) in a laterally projecting manner. Reinforcing structures (6) run from the head flanks (25) toward an attaching structure (7) on the shoulder rest (14) for fixing the vehicle bucket seat (1) on a vehicle supporting structure.
VEHICLE SEATING SYSTEM
A system and method for producing a vehicle seating system includes a frame structure and a cushion positioned in the frame structure. A suspension mat is positioned along a back side of the cushion, and a securing arrangement extends across a width of the cushion such that the suspension mat is positioned between the securing arrangement and the back side of the cushion. The securing arrangement further extends into the cushion and attaches to the anchor which may inhibit dislocation of the cushion from the suspension mat.
VEHICLE SEAT WITH BACKREST MADE OF FRAME ELEMENT AND KNITTED FABRIC
The invention relates to a vehicle seat having a seat part and a backrest part, in which the backrest part has a frame element enclosing an inner surface and a knitted fabric arranged on the frame element, the frame element having at least one fastening element on each of at least two opposite inner sides and the knitted fabric each having a fastening element formed complementarily thereto and arranged on the backside, wherein the knitted fabric is fastened to the frame element by the fastening elements in such a way that the knitted fabric at least partially embraces the frame element from the outside inwards starting from a front side of the frame element facing the seat part and is substantially completely tensioned.
VEHICLE SEAT WITH BACKREST MADE OF FRAME ELEMENT AND KNITTED FABRIC
The invention relates to a vehicle seat with a seat part and a backrest part, in which the backrest part has a frame element which encloses an inner surface, and comprises a knitted fabric arranged on the frame element, wherein the knitted fabric, at least in the region of the inner surface, is arranged to be free-swinging on the front side of the frame element and, at least in the region of the inner surface, an upholstery support element is arranged in or on the knitted fabric and is held exclusively by the said knitted fabric, wherein the knitted fabric, at least in the region of the inner surface, provides the sole support and/or upholstery for a seat user.
Vehicle seat including a cloth spring member
A vehicle seat includes; a pair of frame members, the frame members forming a frame of at least one of a seat cushion and a seat back and being disposed at positions surrounding a seat region supporting an occupant with an interval therebetween; and a cloth spring member bridged between the frame members to cover the seat region. The cloth spring member has a shorter length in a bridging direction at least on one end side of the frame member in a longitudinal direction of the frame member than in a center portion of the frame member in the longitudinal direction; and the cloth spring member has elasticity.
ADJUSTABLE SEAT
A seat having a base support extending under a base of the seat and a squab support extending behind a squab of the seat, the squab support being integral with the base support, the seat presenting a base seating surface upward of the base support and a squab seating surface forward of the squab support, and the seat comprising a first inflatable bladder disposed between the squab support and the squab seating surface for permitting adjustment of the inclination of the squab seating surface relative to the base seating surface.
