VEHICLE SEAT
Provided is a vehicle seat that allows engagement holes for engaging an end part of the skin member to be provided without burdening the seat frame design. The seat cushion of the vehicle seat includes a frame structure, a support member supported by the frame structure within the frame structure to resiliently support an occupant, a pad provided on a proximal side of the frame structure and the support member, and a skin member covering the pad. The support member is provided with plurality of engagement portions engaging end parts of the skin member.
SUSPENSION MAT FOR VEHICLE SEAT WITH GUIDING SUPPORT FOR ELECTRICAL CABLES
A suspension mat for a vehicle seat comprises a spring element, and a guiding support for at least one electrical cable. The guiding support is molded onto the spring element.
SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH HYBRID SPRING-BASED CUSHION SUPPORT
A seat assembly configured to be employed in vehicle seats such as aircraft passenger seats. The seat assembly includes a seat frame having first and second spaced frame members and first and second spaced transverse beams. A plurality of springs positioned proximate an aft end of the seat frame generally above the second transverse beam span between the first and second frame members. A support member is attached to the plurality of springs and to a seat back attachable to the seat frame. A cushion assembly mounts on the seat frame such that the aft end rests on the plurality of springs while the forward end rests on the front transverse beam. In use, as the aft end of the cushion assembly deflects downward toward the second transverse beam the forward end simultaneously rotates around the first transverse beam.
Vehicle seat device
A vehicle seat device includes an SB main frame that is joined to a seat cushion via a reclining shaft; an SB subframe that is swingable with respect to the SB main frame at least about a roll axis; a backrest that is installed on the SB subframe; and a lower support wire and an upper support wire that limit rearward movement of the SB subframe and allow movement of the SB subframe about the roll axis. A straight line connecting between the front end and the rear end of the lower support wire is inclined with respect to a normal line so as to rise toward the front, the normal line being normal to a straight line connecting between an upper end of the SB main frame and the reclining shaft.
Vehicle seat
A seat back pad 70 has a groove 73 for tucking a skin material therein, formed at borders between a central portion 71 and side portions 72. A hole (slot hole 74) is formed in a bottom of the groove 73 along the groove 73. A tuck-in wire 76 for tucking the skin material in includes a plurality of tuck-in portions 76A provided along the groove 73, and a connecting portion (detour portion 76B) detouring around the hole and connecting the tuck-in portions 76A. With this configuration, when an upper body of an occupant P subsides into a seat back S2 in a rear-end collision of a vehicle, the central portion 71, defined by the groove 73 as a border, is easily and sufficiently moved rearward relative to the left and right side portions 72. Furthermore, the tuck-in wire 76 is not exposed through the hole, and thus adhesion between the seat back pad 70 and the tuck-in wire 76 can be improved.
Deformable body and method for the production thereof
A deformable body, wherein the body is constructed from a multiplicity of layers of a polymer construction material and in which a construction direction is defined perpendicular to the layers. The body preferably comprises layers with a multiplicity of curve pairs (10) which are formed by the construction material and which run in the same direction as one another, the curve pairs comprise in each case two periodic curves (20, 30) running oppositely with respect to one another, and the curve pairs comprise portions of maximum spacing to one another (40, 41, 60, 61) and portions of minimum spacing to one another (50, 51, 70, 71). In one part of the layers, in adjacent curve pairs (10), at least one portion of maximum spacing (41) of one curve is connected to a portion of maximum spacing (60) of an adjacent curve, in a further part of the layers, in adjacent curve pairs (10), at least one portion of maximum spacing (41) of one curve is not connected to a portion of maximum spacing (60) of an adjacent curve, in a further part of the layers, in adjacent curve pairs (10), at least a part of the portions of minimum spacing (50, 51) are connected to one another, and in a further part of the layers, in adjacent curve pairs (10), at least a part of the portions of minimum spacing (50, 51) are not connected to one another. The invention also relates to a method for producing the body and to a device for supporting and/or bearing a person having the body according to the invention. The boy may be used inter alia as a mattress or as a vehicle seat.
Seat cushion for vehicle seat and vehicle seat
A seat cushion includes a seat cushion base layer which biases two base support parts in directions approaching each other, and has base support part elastic members which are elastically deformed in an up-down direction, thereby causing the seat cushion to have a configuration having a high spring characteristic. In the seat cushion and the seat back, the seat cushion is configured to be set to be larger than the seat back regarding a range of connecting an origin, a maximum displacement point, and a maximum load point, and a ratio of an area of a range including an inward curve to an area of a range including an outward curve in a predetermined load-deflection characteristic.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a pair of side frames disposed separately from each other in a lateral direction; a pair of connecting frames disposed separately from each other to connect the pair of side frames; and a supporting member including hook portions hooked on the pair of connecting frames, the supporting member being laid to bridge the pair of connecting frames, and configured to support an occupant, wherein a tubular member in which a connecting frame is disposed is provided in a position between the hook portions and the side frames. The tubular member is configured to contact the hook portion to thereby restrict a position of the supporting member in the lateral direction.
SUSPENSION SEATING SURFACE EDGE ENCAPSULATION METHOD, SEATING SURFACE CARRIER AND SEAT MADE THEREWITH
A seat includes a seat surface having a periphery and a carrier overmolded onto the seat surface over the periphery. The carrier has a periphery and a frame is overmolded onto the carrier over the carrier periphery. The seat is assembled without fasteners. A method for making the seat includes overmolding a carrier onto a periphery of a seat surface to form a seat surface/carrier assembly, tensioning the seat surface/carrier assembly in a mold and overmolding a frame onto a periphery of the seat surface/carrier assembly.
Vehicle seat having internal support member
A vehicle seat includes an internal support member for supporting a seat occupant. The internal support member includes a main body in plate or sheet form positioned within a seat cushion frame and first and second mounting portions engaged by first and second cross members of the seat cushion frame. A pressure sensor is mounted on a part of an upper surface of the internal support member which is closer to the first cross member than the second cross member. The main body of the internal support member is formed with a pair of openings positioned on either side of a central longitudinal line. A sensor mounting portion supporting the pressure sensor is defined between mutually adjoining edges of the openings. The first mounting portion includes a central first mounting piece which is positioned laterally centrally and has a greater width than the sensor mounting portion.
