Vehicle seat having internal support member
A vehicle seat includes an internal support member for supporting a seat occupant. The internal support member includes a main body in plate or sheet form positioned within a seat cushion frame, a pair of inclined portions extending laterally from a part of either lateral side of the main body with an upward slant, and front and rear mounting portions engaged by front and rear cross members of the seat cushion frame. A pressure sensor is mounted on a part of an upper surface of the internal support member located ahead of the inclined portions. The main body of the internal support member is provided with a pair of openings located on either side of the pressure sensor, and a connecting portion connecting the pressure sensor with a part of the front mounting portion. The pressure sensor and the openings are spaced from the front edge of the main body.
Vehicle seat having seat cushion of reduced thickness
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion including: a pad; and a support portion which supports the pad. The support portion deforms in accordance with a load applied to the pad, and allows sinking of the pad due to the deformation, and a deformation amount per unit load of the support portion, in a high load range equal to or greater than a predetermined load, is smaller than a deformation amount per unit load of the support portion, in a low load range less than a predetermined load.
Vehicle seat back and method of manufacturing the same
A vehicle seat back may include an integrated suspension structure including a suspension wire and suspension mounting guides coupled to both sides of the suspension wire; and a seat back pad foamed for integrating with the integrated suspension structure in a state in which the integrated suspension structure is inserted into a mold for seat back pad formation.
VEHICLE SEAT
A seat back pad 70 has a groove 73 for tucking a skin material therein, formed at borders between a central portion 71 and side portions 72. A hole (slot hole 74) is formed in a bottom of the groove 73 along the groove 73. A tuck-in wire 76 for tucking the skin material in includes a plurality of tuck-in portions 76A provided along the groove 73, and a connecting portion (detour portion 76B) detouring around the hole and connecting the tuck-in portions 76A. With this configuration, when an upper body of an occupant P subsides into a seat back S2 in a rear-end collision of a vehicle, the central portion 71, defined by the groove 73 as a border, is easily and sufficiently moved rearward relative to the left and right side portions 72.
Furthermore, the tuck-in wire 76 is not exposed through the hole, and thus adhesion between the seat back pad 70 and the tuck-in wire 76 can be improved.
BAND SUPPORTED HEADREST
A passenger seat headrest includes a frame and a support band. The frame includes a main portion, a first side wing connected to the main portion, and a second side wing connected to the main portion distal from the first side wing. The support band is connected to the frame and extends from the first side wing to the second side wing.
Vehicle seat
A headrest is supported by an upper lateral member and a lower lateral member of a seat frame. A headrest stay is inserted through each of guide slots, both of which are formed in both the upper lateral member and the lower lateral member, and an extension wire is hooked on a lower end of the headrest stay. In a rear-collision, a seat back is retreated by a force received from a seated passenger, and a tension of the tension wire is accordingly loosened, which causes the headrest to be tilted forward by an urging force of tilt springs.

Furthermore, the tuck-in wire 76 is not exposed through the hole, and thus adhesion between the seat back pad 70 and the tuck-in wire 76 can be improved.
Vehicle seat
To improve the seated feeling of an occupant in a seat having partially different hardness, a vehicle seat includes a seat frame, an S spring which is installed on the seat frame and receives a load of an occupant, and a seat back pad which has a plurality of regions respectively formed of different materials and is disposed between a skin material of the seat and the S spring. The S spring is disposed at a position facing a boundary portion which is provided in the seat back pad and is the plurality of regions respectively formed of different materials.
PRE-TENSIONING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRE-TENSIONING A BACKREST AND VEHICLE
A pre-tensioning device for pre-tensioning a backrest of a vehicle rear seat is provided. The backrest is situated in an upright seating position and configured to be pivotable about a pivot axis that extends in a vehicle transverse direction, in the direction of a folded position which in relation to the seating position is disposed to be repositioned toward the front. In order for a pre-tensioning device which can be produced in a more cost-effective and light-weight manner and can be attached in a more durable manner to be provided, the pre-tensioning device has at least one leaf spring which is configured to be supported at least indirectly on a vehicle body, and is supported at least indirectly on the rear side of the backrest that faces away from a passenger cabin.
Vehicle seat
In a vehicle seat, a seat back includes a backrest on which an occupant sitting on a seat cushion leans his/her back, and banks supporting the back of the sitting occupant on both sides. Urethane pads configuring the banks are formed in a shape protruded to the front with respect to a urethane pad configuring the backrest, the back face sides of the urethane pads configuring the banks formed in the shape protruded to the front are formed in a recessed shape with respect to a back face side of the urethane pad configuring the backrest, and on the portions of the back face sides of the urethane pads configuring the banks formed in the recessed shape, protrusions having faces at the same height as the back face side of the urethane pad configuring the backrest and extended to the portions formed in the recessed shape are formed.
