VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat is provided with a seat cushion and a seat back. The seat back is provided with a resin frame at least a part of the rear surface side of which is exposed; a pad material disposed on the resin frame; a trim cover for covering the pad material; and a resin hook mounted to an end of the trim cover. The resin frame has a turned-back end formed by turning back outward in a U shape an end of the resin frame. The resin hook is engaged with the turned-back end. The resin hook has a protrusion at the portion thereof which is located within the turned-back end.

A clip member is connected to a cloth-form body that transmits a tensile force. The clip member includes a connecting portion connected to one end of the cloth-form body, and a groove engaged with an edge portion of a mounted portion. The clip member is provided to reduce a torque generated at the connecting portion by the tensile force transmitted from the cloth-form body when engaged with the edge portion of the mounted portion, and connects the cloth-form body to the mounted portion.

The frame assembly comprises a frame disposed within a structural foam pad, with the frame assembly having a first attachment member. The vehicle seat assembly comprises a cushion assembly comprising a flexible foam pad supported on a wire frame assembly, with the cushion assembly having second attachment member cooperable with the first attachment member to secure the cushion assembly to the frame assembly. The vehicle seat assembly comprises a seatback secured to the seat bottom.
Vehicle seating assembly with aesthetic trim cover assembly
According to one or more embodiments, a vehicle seat assembly includes a cushion and a leather trim cover assembly disposed over the cushion. The leather trim cover assembly includes a leather upper layer and a foundation layer secured to the leather upper layer at radio-frequency weld points. The radio-frequency weld points define at least one design boundary adjacent a raised portion of a protruding design in the leather trim cover assembly.
COMPOSITE SEAT STRUCTURE
A vehicle seating assembly is provided that includes a seatback and a seat base operably connected to the seatback. The seat base includes a seat base frame having a rear tube extending laterally between at least two side members, a seat cushion assembly, and a composite seat pan positioned between the seat cushion assembly and the seat base frame and having a plurality of recessed features configured to couple over the rear tube and side members. The seat pan integrally defines a flexible cross bar extending laterally between the recessed features. A plurality of hooks integrally defined by the seat pan are operably coupled to the seat cushion assembly.
