Pivotable armrest with bolt mechanism
An armrest for a motor vehicle has a housing body and an arm support fitted pivotably on the housing body. A rotatably mounted bolt is provided on the arm support with a bolt tongue which, in a locking position, interacts with a striker plate on the housing body, as a result of which a pivoting of the arm support away from the housing body is blocked. A U-shaped support bracket is fitted on the arm support and has, upon application of a force for pivoting of the arm support away from the housing body in the locking position of the bolt, contact with the bolt tongue on the side which faces away from the arm support. A support force is thus exerted in the direction of the arm support on the bolt. The support bracket in the locking position of the bolt, engages around at least the bolt tongue.
AIRBAG APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
The present invention relates to an airbag apparatus for a vehicle. In order to attain the purpose, the airbag apparatus for a vehicle according to the present invention comprises: a mounting board positioned in front of a rider; and an airbag module which is installed on the mounting board and, when a vehicle collides, restrains and protects the rider by means of inflating and expanding an airbag cushion toward the rider. Therefore, when the vehicle collides, the airbag cushion is inflated and expanded from the mounting board and thus the rider can safely be protected.
Tray table device for a seat of a vehicle and vehicle seat
The present disclosure refers to a tray table device for a vehicle seat that may have at least a table element and a table support structure connected to the table element. Further, the present disclosure refers to a vehicle seat that may have such a tray table device.
Rotary backrest recline mechanism
A backrest recline mechanism including a first shaft attachable to a first seat assembly component and a second shaft attachable to a second seat assembly component. The first shaft has a slotted ring defining capture slots and an interior annular space. A control ring has a first end disposed in the annular space. The second shaft is engaged with a second end of the control ring. A first collar, having a plurality of release recesses, is rotatably disposed around the slotted ring. First bearings respectively retained within the capture slots are beneath the first collar. In a first rotational position of the first collar, the plurality of release recesses align with the capture slots to rotationally disengage the first and second components. In a second rotational position, the release recesses misalign with the capture slots to rotationally engage the first and second seat assembly components.
CONCENTRIC ARMREST PIVOT
An armrest pivot assembly may be provided for a passenger seat. An armrest pivot assembly includes an armrest support defining an aperture having an aperture wall. The aperture wall includes a first pivot-limiting feature. The armrest pivot assembly also includes an armrest pivot within the aperture of the armrest support and rotatable within the aperture relative to the armrest support. The armrest pivot includes a perimeter wall having a second pivot-limiting feature, and the first pivot-limiting feature and the second pivot-limiting feature define a range of rotation of the armrest pivot relative to the armrest support.
SLEEP APPARATUS
A sleep apparatus includes: a mat main body portion configured to support a user in a supine state; and a tilting mechanism that, at the mat main body portion, periodically tilts a body of a user left and right, by alternately raising a right side supporting portion, which includes portions supporting a right-side hipbone and a right-side shoulder blade of a user, and a left side supporting portion, which includes portions supporting a left-side hipbone and a left-side shoulder blade of a user.
Motorized seat
A motorized seat that may be used in various marine applications to help improve adjustability and user comfort. In one implementation, a left armrest motor, a right armrest motor, and a footrest motor are selectively controllable and configured to move the left armrest between a left armrest stowed position and a left armrest lowered position, the right armrest between a right armrest stowed position and a right armrest lowered position, and the footrest between a footrest stowed position and a footrest lowered position.
Vehicle structure
The vehicle structure includes seats provided away from each other in a vehicle width direction, a support provided on a vehicle floor, and attached between the seats, a vehicle structural part provided between the seats, and an armrest detachably attached to the support.
Lightweight aircraft passenger seat assembly
The present invention relates to a lightweight aircraft passenger seat assembly (1), comprising: at least one seat shell (2) having a seat pan (21) and a seat back (22) which are rigidly connected with each other. For offering more comfort to the passengers while still providing the advantages of a minimalistic lightweight design, the lightweight aircraft passenger seat assembly (1) according to the invention further comprises a backrest portion (3) which is movable in relation to the seat shell (2).
Locking mechanisms for a foldable armrest for a seat of a vehicle
A locking mechanism for an armrest assembly for use with a seat of a vehicle, including: an arm portion adapted to be coupled to a pad portion at one end and a structure of the seat at an opposite end and to pivot from an upright use configuration to a collapsed stowed configuration adjacent to the seat; a tube structure adapted to be coupled to the structure of the seat and defining one or more circumferential notches about an exterior surface thereof; an elongate rod coupled to the opposite end of the arm portion and at least partially disposed rotatably within the tube structure; and a tab structure adapted to selectively protrude from the opposite end of the arm portion and engage one of the one or more notches of the tube structure to selectively secure the arm portion in the one or more of the upright use configuration and the collapsed stowed configuration.
