An armrest assembly for an aircraft passenger seat including a base, a first arm having a first end pivotally attached to the base, a second arm having a first end pivotally attached to the base, and an arm support element pivotally connected to a second end of the first arm and pivotally connected to a second end of the second arm. An assist device applies force to bias the arm support element from a first position toward a second position higher than the first position. The base, the arm support element, the first arm, and the second arm operate together as a four-bar linkage system. Upon actuation of a user-actuatable release device, the arm support element can be moved from the first position to the second position with force assistance from the assist device.

A mechanism for holding at least one article in an enclosure having a sliding cover. The mechanism includes a first track, a second track, and a third track configured on a wall of the enclosure. The third track is configured to hold the articles in a holding position. The mechanism further includes a track changing mechanism and a supporting link. The track changing mechanism connects the first track to the second track and to the third track. The supporting link supports and prevents the lateral movement of the article from the holding position.

A work vehicle includes a cab, a driver's seat disposed inside the cab, a first steering device, a second steering device, a seating sensor, and a control unit. The first steering device is disposed in front of the driver's seat. The first steering device is configured to perform a steering operation of the vehicle. The second steering device is disposed to a side of the driver's seat. The second steering device is configured to perform a steering operation of the vehicle. The seating sensor detects whether or not an operator is sitting in the driver's seat. The control unit disables the steering operation with the second steering device when the seating sensor detects that the operator is not sitting in the driver's seat.

An armrest assembly for a passenger seat includes a pivot member (101) attached to a seat frame (10), at least one armrest spine (102) attached to the pivot member (101), and at least one set screw (106) for adjusting a position of the pivot member relative to the seat frame. A pivot fastener (112) extends through a center hole of the pivot member (101) and through a first hole of the at least one armrest spine (102). A pin (110) extends through an arc slot of the pivot member (101) and through a second hole of the at least one armrest spine (102).

An armrest linkage system changes an inclination of the armrest relative to the backrest upon changes in inclination of the backrest relative to the seat base, over a pivot range of motion of the backrest relative to the seat base. This may maintain the inclination of the armrest relative to the seat base and the seat floor or may change the inclination of the armrest relative to the seat base and the seat floor.

Armrest (10) comprising a base (19) and an arm (13) that can be moved by a mount (17) between at least one use position and a non-use position, wherein the arm (13) is movable by the mount (17) axially of a pivot axis (a) between a proximal and a distal position, and is pivotable about the pivot axis (a) between a primary and a secondary position, wherein the armrest (10) has an actuator (30) comprising a motor drive having a drive part (29) that is movable between a first and a second position in order to displace the arm (13) in a first direction (y.sub.1) between the non-use position and the use position, at least in part, wherein the actuator (30) has at least one spring (21) that can be tensioned upon movement of the drive part (29) or an additional drive part (29) of the actuator (30), wherein the arm (13) can be moved axially, in a second direction (y.sub.2) by the spring (21), which second direction is directed opposite the first direction (y.sub.1).
Fully collapsing armrest insert with tunable tensioning elements
A collapsible vehicular armrest substrate includes load-bearing strips extending across a gap defined within a support frame. A first tunable element secures the load-bearing strips in a support position on the support frame. A first tension-adjusting portion sets a predetermined first tension limit of the first tunable element. The load-bearing strips disengage from the support position when the first tunable element experiences an actual tension greater than the predetermined first tension limit.

The invention concerns an apparatus with inclination-adjustable pivoting element, a pivoting element, hinged on a support structure around a first axis of rotation to move between a first limit stop position and a second limit stop position. The apparatus comprises at least one abutment body, rotationally connected to the pivoting body and to the structure around the first axis and constrainable in rotation to the pivoting element. The abutment body stops the pivoting element in the first limit stop position by abutting against a first stop. The apparatus comprises: at least one body of constraint between the abutment body and the pivoting element, which may assume alternatively a constraint and a release configuration; and a control device, kinematically connected to the constraint body to move it between the two aforesaid positions. The inclination in the first limit stop position is adjusted by activating the control device and varying the inclination of the pivoting element.
