ARMREST PIVOTABLY SUPPORTED BY DOOR SIDE PANEL
A vehicle includes a door side panel. An armrest extends from a first end to a second end. The armrest is pivotably supported by the door side panel at the first end and the armrest is releasably connected to the door side panel at the second end. An airbag is inflatable from an uninflated position to an inflated position. The airbag is positioned between the armrest and the door side panel in the uninflated position to pivot the armrest from a lowered position to a raised position as the airbag inflates from the uninflated position to the inflated position.
VEHICLE SEAT
In a seat in which an armrest is attached to a side frame of a seatback, a reinforcing member that inhibits lateral torsion deformation of the side frame at a location where the armrest is attached to the side frame when a lateral load is applied to the armrest, is cross-linked between the side frame and a lower panel arranged in a different location than the side frame.
INPUT APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE AND VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
An input apparatus for a vehicle includes a cover member for covering an upper part of an input unit installed in a center plate provided between a driver seat and a passenger seat, wherein the cover member moves forward from a center console located in a back part of the center plate to cover the upper part of the input unit.
Vehicular interior component
A vehicular interior component to be mounted on a vehicular metal member includes a wall member and a skin disposed on a portion of the wall member. The wall member includes a wall body portion having a plate shape and a mounting portion that extends from the wall body portion and along the vehicular metal member and is to be fixed to the vehicular metal member. The skin includes an electricity removal surface layer having static dissipative properties on a surface of the skin facing a vehicular exterior side. The skin includes a skin body portion that covers the wall body portion and a skin extended portion that extends from the skin body portion and covers a portion of the mounting portion. The electricity removal surface layer of the skin extended portion is to be directly contacted with the vehicular metal member.
Component for vehicle interior
A vehicle interior component configured for response in event of a side impact may comprise an armrest assembly for a door panel. The armrest assembly may comprise a base section and an armrest section and a region configured for response to side impact at the door panel. The region may comprise a movable/deformable structure. Response of the armrest assembly may comprise deformation to partially absorb force and/or movement of the armrest section relative to the base section to partially cover the base section. The armrest assembly may comprise a carrier and/or mechanism to attach the armrest section to the door panel. The carrier/mechanism may be configured to guide/direct movement of the armrest section and/or to partially absorb the side impact force. The mechanism may comprise a set of pins movable within a set of slots to provide for movement of the armrest section.
VEHICLE INTERIOR MATERIAL
A vehicle interior material includes a base material, and a skin material joined to the base material. The skin material includes a skin layer, a foaming layer provided on a surface of the skin layer on a side of the base material, and a solid layer provided on a surface of the foaming layer on the side of the base material, having a higher density than the foaming layer, and having breathability. The skin material has a plurality of first recesses recessed from the solid layer toward the foaming layer.
ARMREST ASSEMBLY
The present invention provides an armrest assembly for use in the shared armrest area between adjacent seats in a vehicle. The assembly provides two pivotable, vertically spaced armrest members, the assembly designed to replace the existing armrest without modification of the seat assembly. The vertical spacing of the armrests allows for one user to use the upper space while the other uses the lower space between the seats, affording both users full horizontal freedom of movement. The armrest members can be individually pivoted between the stowage and utility positions.
Vehicle console having cooler arrangement
A vehicle console including a base, a housing supported on the base and comprising a storage compartment, the storage compartment having side walls in an access opening, and a lid operatively coupled to the access opening of the housing and comprising a zipper for connecting the lid to the top end of the module, wherein the zipper may be unzipped to expose the access opening and may be zipped to close the lid on the access opening.
SEAT STRUCTURE
A seat structure includes a seat back including a main seat that is able to be tilted backward and a side seat that bulges forward in a vehicle front-rear direction on a lateral side of the main seat, in which the side seat extends from a lateral portion of the main seat to a vehicle-width-directional outer side, and is divided in a height direction of the side seat, roughly at a center of the side seat in the height direction, into an upper side seat that is formed so as to be fixed to the main seat and a lower side seat that is formed independently from the main seat.
