VEHICLE CONSOLE ASSEMBLY
A console assembly includes a body that has a front portion and a rear portion. The body defines a support extension extending from a rear portion. The support extension includes a guide and a resilient member that defines a channel. A lid is operably coupled to the body. A connector outwardly extends from the lid and is coupled to the support extension. An engagement member is positioned within the channel and is coupled to the connector and mutually engageable with the resilient member.
VEHICULAR DOOR TRIM
A vehicular door trim includes an armrest including a first mount member, a pull handle, an opening section, and a switch base. The pull handle includes a body portion and an extending portion that extends from the body portion and includes a second mount member that is fitted to the first mount member. The opening section is defined by the armrest and the extending portion with the second mount member being fitted to the first mount member. The switch base includes a third mount member that is fitted to the second mount member and disposed in the opening section to cover the opening section with the third mount member being fitted to the second mount member.
Console-mounted deployable work surface
A work surface for a vehicle includes a first leaf, a second leaf, and a dual-stage hinge pivotably coupling the first and second leafs. The dual-stage hinge includes a first pivot axis and a second pivot axis.
VEHICLE AND ARMREST
A vehicle according to the present disclosure includes a vehicle body, an armrest, a sensor, and an air blower port. The armrest is disposed along a side portion of a seat in the vehicle body. The armrest is disposed in the traveling direction. The armrest includes an upper surface on which an arm of a passenger sitting on the seat is allowed to rest. The sensor is provided on a side surface of the armrest. The sensor detects a hand of the passenger. The air blower port is provided on the side surface of the armrest and provided between the sensor and the upper surface of the armrest. The air blower sends out air from the armrest. The air sent out from the air blower port is changed on the basis of at least a detection result of the sensor.
OCCUPANT SUPPORTS AND VIRTUAL VISUALIZATION & NAVIGATION
Arrangements for safety and comfort in vehicles.
Biomimetic armrest substrate for a vehicle armrest assembly
A vehicle door includes a trim panel coupled to a frame. A single-piece armrest substrate is coupled with the frame. The armrest substrate is a three-dimensionally printed member having interior walls that are printed within the armrest substrate according to a virtual force model generated during a virtual impact scenario. The interior walls define a plurality of voids defined within the armrest substrate.
Vehicle door and door providing method
A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a vehicle door changeable back and forth between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the vehicle door is provided by an inner module coupled to an outer module. In the second configuration, the vehicle door is provided by the inner module without the outer module. A door providing method includes providing a vehicle door in a first configuration using an inner module coupled to an outer module. The method further includes providing the vehicle door in a second configuration using the inner module without the outer module.
Fully collapsing armrest insert with tunable tensioning elements
A collapsible vehicular armrest substrate includes load-bearing strips extending across a gap defined within a support frame. A first tunable element secures the load-bearing strips in a support position on the support frame. A first tension-adjusting portion sets a predetermined first tension limit of the first tunable element. The load-bearing strips disengage from the support position when the first tunable element experiences an actual tension greater than the predetermined first tension limit.
CONSOLE SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A console support device comprises a first bracket including a placement portion on which a console box is placed; and a second bracket fixed to the first bracket. The second bracket includes a joint portion joined to a lower surface of the placement portion, an inclined portion provided to obliquely bend downward from a rear end of the joint portion, and a base portion provided to bend from a lower end of the inclined portion. A cantilever region which is supported on the joint portion in a cantilever manner is provided on a rear end side of the placement portion. A connection part between the joint portion and the inclined portion forms a first bend portion. A connection part between the inclined portion and the base portion forms a second bend portion.
Dynamic adjustable armrest
A dynamic adjustable armrest includes a bracket supporting the armrest, a rod guide having a plurality of detents, the rod guide in slidable communication with the bracket, a locking rod engageable with the rod guide and the bracket. The locking rod is movable between at least a first position and a second position, and the armrest is movable between at least an up position and a down position.
