A vehicle control method is disclosed which is a method for adjusting a seat inside a vehicle. The vehicle control method includes: monitoring the surroundings of a passenger sitting in the seat through a camera installed inside the vehicle; sensing an object around the passenger through the monitoring; sending information on the sensed object to a server; receiving a preset seat setting value corresponding to the object information from the server; and adjusting the position of the seat according to the seat setting value. One or more of an autonomous vehicle according to the present invention, a user terminal, and a server may be associated with artificial intelligence, a robot, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), etc.

It is provided an adjusting device for a seat element of a vehicle seat supporting a body part of a seat user, with at least one driving device comprising a spindle drive and at least one adjustable support element for changing the contour or position of the seat element, wherein the spindle drive comprises a spindle extending along a spindle axis, which is floatingly mounted at a spindle end via a spindle holder such that at this spindle end the spindle is displaceable along at least one spatial direction extending transversely to the spindle axis. The spindle holder comprises a first and a second compensating element for a displaceability of the spindle end with respect to two first and second spatial directions extending approximately perpendicularly to each other and each perpendicularly to the spindle axis.

The distance of the movable connection from the first location can be adjusted to cause the flexible head-rest assembly to flex outward from the seat to provide a greater or lesser degree of support for a passenger.

The distance of the movable connection from the first location can be adjusted to cause the flexible head-rest assembly to flex outward from the seat to provide a greater or lesser degree of support for a passenger.

The hinge assembly includes a stationary plate and a movable plate rotatable relative to the base plate about a fixed axis of rotation. The hinge assembly includes a shape memory alloy wire coupling the stationary plate with the movable plate. An actuator is provided and configured to transform the phase of the shape memory alloy wire. In various aspects, the occupant support component is selected from one of a seat bottom; a seatback; a seat bolster; a seat head rest, and the like.
