Vehicle with thermal comfort sensor for cabin climate control
A vehicle a sensor system disposed adjacent to a headrest portion of a seat within a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The sensor system includes at least one of an air velocity sensor, an air temperature sensor, a radiant heat flux sensor, a heat flux sensor, or a humidity sensor. The sensor system is positioned near the headrest, facing a forward end of the vehicle, in a position that is not blocked by a head of a passenger seated in the seat. The sensor system provides data related to the air velocity, the air temperature, the radiant heat flux, the heat flux, or the relative humidity, enabling a climate controller to accurately calculate a current Equivalent Homogenous Temperature (EHT) of a passenger seated in the seat. The climate controller may then control a climate system of the vehicle based on the calculated EHT to provide a desired EHT.

Headrest cover holder system
A cover for a seat having a headrest includes a stabilizing bracket member that enables a secure attachment of an electronic device for use by a passenger behind the seat. In one embodiment, the cover includes a sleeve defining a chamber, a first opening to the chamber, and a second opening to the chamber. The chamber is sized and shaped to at least partially contain the headrest. The first opening is sized and positioned such that at least a portion of the headrest is insertable into the chamber through the first opening. The stablizing bracket member defines an aperture and is attached to the sleeve such that the aperture is aligned with the second opening so that the second opening is unobstructed.

Bus safety shield
A protective shield assembly for use on a bus is disclosed. The assembly includes a first fastener affixed to the luggage rack of the bus, a second fastener affixed to a rear surface of the backrest of the seats of a row of the bus, and a body extending between the luggage rack and the seats to form a barrier between adjacent rows. The body includes an upper end having a third fastener and a lower end having a lower edge, a cut-out, a fourth fastener, and a furled portion. The third fastener is attached to the first fastener and the fourth fastener is attached to the second fastener fixing the body in position. The cut-out divides the furled portion into a left portion and a right portion that selectively and independently uncurl as the body is pulled toward a planar configuration when one of the seats is reclined.

Headrest cover holder system
A cover for a vehicle seat headrest includes one opening to accommodate a protuberance at the front of the headrest, such as a protuberant cushion or pillow, and another opening at the rear to permit access to a passenger behind the vehicle seat to access or view items attached to, or stored within, the rear of the headrest.
