Neck fan for a vehicle seat and control method therefor
The present teachings relate to a neck fan for a vehicle seat for generating a usable air flow that emerges from the neck fan toward a passenger, said neck fan being provided with at least one air conveying device for generating a usable air flow in the region of a headrest or the upper end of a seat back. It is provided that one or more compensating means are provided, by means of which asymmetrical climatic conditions caused by interfering currents in the area surrounding a passenger can be compensated for, and that one or more compensating means act asymmetrically on the usable air flow and/or impart an asymmetry to the cross-section of the usable air flow, at least in the region of an outlet of the neck fan, said asymmetry relating to at least one geometric or thermodynamic parameter.

Transducer system providing tactile sensations
A system providing tactile sensations. The system comprises a seat back of a seat, the seat back having a left side and a right side separated by a center-line of the seat back. A first plurality of electroactive transducers are arranged along the center-line of the seat back and provide tactile sound to a user. A second plurality of electroactive transducers in the seat back provide tactile alerts or feedback. The second plurality of electroactive alert transducers comprise a left-side electroactive transducer at the left side of the seat back and right-side electroactive transducer at the right side of the seat back.
Seat arranged for enhanced sound perception via vibration
The invention relates to a seat arranged for enhanced sound perception via vibration including a padding and a sound reproduction assembly (20), which includes at least one vibration source (26), at least one elastic element (16, 21) and at least one frame structure (18, 22), which sound reproduction assembly is at least partially arranged inside the padding. The elastic element/-s (16, 21) are nonhomogenous element/-s and located in contact with the frame structure (18, 22) and the vibration source (26) and configured to provide elastically and mechanically tuned mounting and that the elastic element/-s are configured to create at least lateral vibration to the surface of the seat.
Automotive headrest
An improved automotive headrest and an automotive seat with the improved automotive headrest. The automotive headrest comprises a support and a headrest body disposed on the support, the headrest body has a first cavity and a second cavity independent of one another, and the first cavity and the second cavity are provided with a speaker unit respectively, and the two speaker units are located on the left and right sides of the headrest body respectively. The automobile headrest has a simple structure, a small size, and a good visual field.

Headrest speakers with asymmetric radiation patterns
The technology described in this document can be embodied in a headrest for a vehicle-seat, the headrest including a first acoustic assembly and a second acoustic assembly. The first acoustic assembly includes a first set of one or more acoustic transducers, and is configured to radiate acoustic energy from a first portion of the headrest in a first radiation pattern. The second acoustic assembly includes a second set of one or more acoustic transducers, and is configured to radiate acoustic energy from a second portion of the headrest in a second radiation pattern. The first acoustic assembly and the second acoustic assembly are configured such that the first radiation pattern and the second radiation pattern are substantially different from one another, and generate an asymmetric radiation pattern for the headrest.
