Damper and assembly
A damper includes a body and a movement limiter. A movement limiter may extend from the body. In embodiments, a movement limiter may include a plurality of ribs that may be configured for contacting an inner surface of an aperture or recess of a bracket to limit movement of the body relative to said bracket. A plurality of connecting members may extend from the body. The plurality of connecting members may connect the body with the bracket. The plurality of connecting members may include substantially T-shaped or bow tie-shaped configurations.
ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY
An electrical assembly includes a seat, an electronic control unit, a seat sensor assembly, and a microphone. The electronic control unit may be configured to control movement of the seat. The microphone may be connected to the electronic control unit. The electronic control unit may be configured to determine, via the seat sensor assembly, a position of an occupant of the seat and/or a distance between the occupant and the microphone. The electronic control unit may be configured to modify at least one of a gain and/or a sensitivity associated with the microphone according to the position and/or the distance. The distance may be the distance between a head of said occupant and the microphone. The seat may include a seat base, a seat back, and/or a head restraint. The seat sensor assembly may be configured to provide information about a position of the seat.

VEHICLE HEAD RESTRAINT INCORPORATING SPEAKERS
A vehicle head restraint includes a speaker positioned directly behind a head of a vehicle passenger occupying a seat when the vehicle passenger head is substantially centered in front of the head restraint, a head restraint support defining an internal open cavity, and an acoustically transparent material supported by the head restraint support across a forward face of the internal open cavity. The acoustically transparent material restrains the rearward motion of the head of the vehicle passenger and the speaker is directed toward a center of the head restraint.

Vehicle headrest
Various implementations include vehicle headrest configurations and related audio systems. In some particular implementations, a vehicle headrest includes: a main body having a front surface arranged to support a back of a head of a user and a pair of acoustic channels each formed in part by a side wall having a front edge that is offset from the front surface, the main body having a portion configured to receive first and second transducers having a center-to-center spacing of approximately 130 millimeters (mm) to approximately 240 mm, where a dimension (Dimension K) defined by a distance between respective inside surfaces of the side walls of the pair of acoustic channels is related to a dimension (Dimension F) defined by an amount that the front edge of each side wall is recessed from the front surface.

Backrest speakers with acoustic channels
The technology described in this document can be embodied in a vehicle seat that includes a seat headrest portion for supporting the head of an occupant, and a seat backrest portion for supporting the back of the occupant in a seated position. The backrest portion includes an enclosure for receiving at least a portion of an acoustic transducer. The vehicle seat also includes an acoustic channel having a first end that is configured to be fitted around a driver of the acoustic transducer in an acoustically sealed configuration, and a second end. The second end is opposite the first end and disposed at a location closer to the seat headrest portion than the seat backrest portion. The acoustic channel is configured to radiate acoustic energy from the acoustic transducer through the second end.

SEAT
A seat includes: a backrest configured to support a back of a seated occupant; a headrest provided to an upper portion of the backrest and configured to support a back of a head of the seated occupant; an overhang portion configured to overhang forward so as to laterally cover the head of the seated occupant from a side portion of the headrest; an overhang adjustment mechanism capable of adjusting an overhang amount of the overhang portion; and a height adjustment mechanism capable of adjusting a height position of the headrest with respect to the backrest.
