NOISE REDUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACTIVELY COMPENSATING BACKGROUND NOISES
A noise reduction system (2) and a method for actively compensating background noises in a passenger transport area of a vehicle. Said system includes a control unit (8), at least one microphone (10), at least one sound generator (12) and a position detection unit for detecting a position and/or orientation of the head (16) of a user. The control unit (8) is coupled to the position detection unit on an input side, is configured to receive position data and to determine a position signal from the position data, and to generate an antinoise signal from the background noise signal and the position signal. The sound generator (12) is configured to generate antinoise from the antinoise signal such that, by superimposing the antinoise in a quiet zone (20a, 20b) within the passenger transport area, which antinoise is in phase opposition with the background noise, active reduction of the background noise is achieved. The position detection unit is a 3D camera arrangement (14).
Method for manufacturing a headrest comprising an integrated functional module
A method is provided for manufacturing a headrest. The headrest includes an integrated functional module. The method includes mounting the functional module on a supporting rod and enclosing the functional module mounted on the supporting rod with a housing (102), which is fitted on a front part (104), and a rear part (302) and introducing a cable tube (208) into a hole (502) in the front part (104) or in the rear part (302). The cable tube (208) serves for receiving a cable fastening the front part (104), the rear part (302) and the supporting rod (204) using a fastening device.

Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat is equipped with a seatback having a mounting portion, a headrest having a headrest frame and an electric component, a first connector, and a second connector. The first connector has an engaging portion engaged with a hole of the headrest frame, a protrusion engaging the second connector, and a first connector terminal electrically connected to a lead wire of the electric component. The second connector has a first engaging piece engaged with a hole of the guide bracket from the outside of the guide bracket, a second engaging piece engaged with the protrusion of the first connector from the outside of the first connector, and a second connector terminal electrically connected to a lead wire wired in the seatback and the first connector terminal. The engagement between the hole of the mounting portion and the first engaging piece of the second connector can be released irreversibly.

VEHICLE HEADREST WITH BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS
A vehicle headrest assembly including a Bluetooth speaker for connecting to a vehicle occupant's mobile device. The vehicle headrest assembly includes a housing operatively coupleable to a vehicle seatback and a cover at least partially surrounding the housing. The cover can completely enclose the Bluetooth speaker or may alternatively provide cover apertures that the Bluetooth speaker is disposed in. The headrest assembly further includes an armature permitting the housing to move vertically with respect to the vehicle seatback. A vehicle with multiple seats can employ multiple vehicle headrest assemblies to allow occupants to personalize their audio preferences.
