PORTABLE SUPPORT DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A support device configured to overlay a seating assembly and configured to support the torso, neck, and head of a user is provided. The support device has a first elongated bolster cushion configured to support a first thoracic side of the user, a second elongated bolster cushion configured to support a second thoracic side of the user, a first adjustable strap coupled to a upper portion of the first elongated bolster cushion and an upper portion of the second elongated bolster cushion such that the strap connects each of the first and second elongated bolster cushions on their respective lower portions, a second adjustable strap coupled to a lower portion of the first elongated bolster cushion and a lower portion of the second elongated bolster cushion such that the strap connects each of the first and second elongated bolster cushions on their respective lower portions, wherein when the first adjustable strap is tightened the upper portions of the first and second elongated bolsters move towards each other such that the first and second elongated bolsters for a tapered shape with respect to the other to support the user's thoracic sides, neck, head of the user or any combination thereof.
JOINT FITTING
Hinge fitting for swivelable elements like for example arm rests, head portions of furniture for sitting or lying, and the like, comprising a swivel element which has a bore for receiving a hinge pin, and a holding element with a circular recess, in which a clamping disc on the hinge pin is rotatably arranged, wherein the clamping disc allows a rotational movement in a rotation direction relative to the holding element and blocks a rotational movement in the opposite direction, and wherein on the side of the swivel element there is provided at least a spring element, which presses the swivel element in axial direction of the hinge pin against the clamping disc.
Vehicle head restraint that can be separated from a seatback yet remotely actuated to move to a folded position when attached to the seatback
A seating assembly comprises: a head restraint that can be both separated from a seatback to a separated position, and remotely actuated via a user-accessible manipulable device located away from the head restraint to move the head restraint to a folded position when coupled to the seatback in an extending position. A cable of the seatback is not operably coupled with the head restraint when the user-accessible manipulable device is not manipulated but becomes operably coupled with the head restraint, when the user-accessible manipulable device is manipulated and the head restraint is in the extending position, to cause the head restraint to move from an upright position to the folded position. The cable of the seatback extends into a post receiver and operably couples with the head restraint within the post receiver when the head restraint is in the extending position and the user-accessible manipulable device is manipulated.

Seating pad with woven cover
A seat assembly includes a seat with a hip/thigh support, a back support and at least one gap between the hip/thigh support and the back support. A seating pad assembly is positioned removably on the seat and has a foam cushion made at least partly of a viscoelastic foam and having a dimensionally stable woven fabric cover. Pelvic and upper back areas of a person sitting on the seat deform the viscoelastic foam significantly to provide a comfortable support and to define anchors for the seating pad assembly. The outer cover extends between those anchors for effectively supporting and cradling the lumbar back area of the person in the seat.

FINISHER FOR HEADREST AND VEHICLE SEAT
To provide a technique that allows comparatively easy mounting of a cover (finisher) that covers a bottom surface of a headrest body. A headrest includes a headrest body, a headrest pillar, and a finisher. The headrest pillar projects from a bottom surface of the headrest body. The finisher has an opening portion into which the headrest pillar is inserted. The headrest pillar extends to an inside of the headrest body. The finisher is fixed to the headrest pillar at the inside of the headrest body. The finisher covers the bottom surface of the headrest body.
AIRBAG AND SUPPORT DEVICE
An airbag includes: a welding portion that bonds peripheral edges of a pair of sheet portions to each other to form a bag shape, in which the airbag is formed to have a pair of holding portions that holds a held body portion therebetween, and at least one of the two sheet portions is formed with a pair of melting portions extending in directions away from mutually facing portions of the two holding portions in the welding portion.
