Vehicle Seat
To provide a vehicle seat in which the posture of the head of the occupant is controlled with a simpler configuration to reduce motion sickness of the occupant, the vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion; a seat back; a headrest including a main part configured to support the back of the head of the occupant, a left side part connected to a left edge of the main part to be rotatable about a vertical axis, a right side part connected to a right edge of the main part to be rotatable about a vertical axis, a left drive device for rotating the left side part forward relative to the main part, and a right drive device for rotating the right side part forward relative to the main part; an acceleration acquisition device; and a control device which, when a rightward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, makes the right drive device rotate the right side part forward until the right side part is positioned on a right side of the head of the occupant, and when a leftward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, makes the left drive device rotate the left side part forward until the left side part is positioned on a left side of the head of the occupant.
Vehicle Seat
To provide a vehicle seat in which the posture of the head of the occupant is controlled with a simpler configuration to reduce motion sickness of the occupant, the vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion; a seat back; a headrest including a main part configured to support the back of the head of the occupant, a left side part connected to a left edge of the main part to be rotatable about a vertical axis, a right side part connected to a right edge of the main part to be rotatable about a vertical axis, a left drive device for rotating the left side part forward relative to the main part, and a right drive device for rotating the right side part forward relative to the main part; an acceleration acquisition device; and a control device which, when a rightward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, makes the right drive device rotate the right side part forward until the right side part is positioned on a right side of the head of the occupant, and when a leftward acceleration is acquired by the acceleration acquisition device, makes the left drive device rotate the left side part forward until the left side part is positioned on a left side of the head of the occupant.
ADJUSTABLE CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM
In at least one embodiment, an adjustable child restraint system is provided. The system may include a base portion, a child retaining portion, a sensor, and a controller operatively connected to the base portion and/or the child retaining portion, the controller for operating movement of the base portion and/or the child retaining portion, in some embodiments. The child retaining portion may include a first expandable section and a second expandable section to operatively expand to support a head and neck of a child seated there within.
Universal rest seats
A passenger seat assembly includes a seat support and an immobile seat shell mounted on the seat support. The seat shell can include a bench and a backrest. The bench includes a forward edge, an aft edge, and a top surface extending between the forward edge and the aft edge. The backrest can be connected to the aft edge of the bench and can extend in an upward direction from the top surface of the bench. In some cases, the backrest includes an upright portion connected to the bench and angled at a first angle with respect to the top surface of the bench, and a resting portion connected to the bench and angled at a second angle with respect to the top surface of the bench.
Universal rest seats
A passenger seat assembly includes a seat support and an immobile seat shell mounted on the seat support. The seat shell can include a bench and a backrest. The bench includes a forward edge, an aft edge, and a top surface extending between the forward edge and the aft edge. The backrest can be connected to the aft edge of the bench and can extend in an upward direction from the top surface of the bench. In some cases, the backrest includes an upright portion connected to the bench and angled at a first angle with respect to the top surface of the bench, and a resting portion connected to the bench and angled at a second angle with respect to the top surface of the bench.

The frame includes a main portion, a first side wing connected to the main portion, and a second side wing connected to the main portion distal from the first side wing. The support band is connected to the frame and extends from the first side wing to the second side wing.

In embodiments, an aircraft passenger seat assembly includes a seatback assembly including one or more lateral seatback sections. In embodiments, at least one lateral seatback section includes a base seatback panel coupled to a seatback frame, a first set of segmented seatback panels coupled to the base seatback panel, and a second set of segmented seatback panels coupled to the first set of segmented seatback panels. In embodiments, the aircraft passenger seat assembly further includes a plurality of actuatable assemblies, wherein the plurality of actuatable assemblies include a first set of actuatable assemblies configured to selectively actuate the first set of segmented seatback panels relative to the base seatback panel, and a second set of actuatable assemblies configured to selectively actuate the second set of segmented seatback panels relative to the first set of segmented seatback panels.
PNEUMATIC ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR A SIDE WING OF A VEHICLE SEAT
The present disclosure relates to a pneumatic adjusting device for adjusting a side wing of a vehicle seat from a default position to an actuation position, the adjusting device comprising: a two-armed lever having an outer lever arm for adjusting the side wing and an inner lever arm, an inflatable balloon device, e.g. balloon, for adjusting the inner for adjusting the arm, and mechanical spring means for adjusting the inner for adjusting the arm.
Hereby, it is provided that, in the default position of the adjusting device, the balloon device is inflated, in the default position, the spring means is tensioned and biases the inner lever arm into the actuation position, and in the actuation position, the spring means compresses the balloon.
