Vehicle seats that include sound cancelation systems
Seats that include sound cancelation systems are described. An example vehicle bench seat has a first backrest, a first speaker, a second backrest, a second speaker, a central portion, and a seat base. The first speaker is disposed within the first backrest and the second speaker is disposed within the second backrest. Each of the first and second speakers emit primary sound waves and secondary sound waves. The secondary sound waves of the first speaker are 180 degrees out of phase with the primary sound waves of the first speaker and the secondary sound waves of the second speaker are 180 degrees out of phase with the primary sound waves of the second speaker. The central portion includes channels that direct the secondary sound waves emitted by the first and second speakers into the vehicle cabin to cancel undesired primary sound waves.

Pneumatic adjusting device for a side wing of a vehicle seat
The present disclosure relates to a pneumatic adjusting device for adjusting a side wing of a vehicle seat from a default position to an actuation position, the adjusting device comprising: a two-armed lever having an outer lever arm for adjusting the side wing and an inner lever arm, an inflatable balloon device, e.g. balloon, for adjusting the inner for adjusting the arm, and mechanical spring means for adjusting the inner for adjusting the arm. Hereby, it is provided that, in the default position of the adjusting device, the balloon device is inflated, in the default position, the spring means is tensioned and biases the inner lever arm into the actuation position, and in the actuation position, the spring means compresses the balloon.
Audio system for headrest with integrated microphone(s), related headrest and vehicle
An audio system for a seat headrest includes N speaker(s), each configured to be integrated into a seat headrest, N being an integer greater than or equal to 1, and an audio processing device including an electronic transmission channel connected to the speaker(s) and configured to transmit at least one audio stream via the speaker(s). The audio system comprises P microphone(s), each configured to be integrated into the headrest, P being an integer greater than or equal to 1. The audio processing device further includes an electronic receiving channel connected to the microphone(s) and configured to receive at least one sound signal via the P microphone(s).

VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle control device includes a sleep depth estimation unit that estimates a sleep depth of an occupant seated in a seat provided in a vehicle, and a control unit that controls the vehicle such that a magnitude of the external force to be applied to at least one of a plurality of the occupants is equal to or less than a first threshold value when the estimated sleep depth of the occupant is equal to or lower than a predetermined reference depth or when the occupant is awake, and that controls the vehicle such that the magnitude of the external force to be applied to each of all the occupants is equal to or less than a second threshold value larger than the first threshold value when the sleep depth of each of the occupants is greater than the reference depth.
Headrest assembly with friction hinge
A headrest assembly for use in a vehicle includes a housing having a front portion and a rear portion. The headrest assembly also includes an armature operatively coupling the rear portion to a seatback of an automobile seat. The front portion includes a central panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel, wherein the first side panel pivots relative to the central panel about a first vertical axis, and the second side panel pivots relative to the central panel about a second vertical axis. The headrest assembly also includes a first spring clip assembly connecting the first side panel to a side of the central panel and a second spring clip assembly connecting the second side panel to an opposite side of the central panel, the first and second spring clip assemblies maintaining an angular position of the first and second side panels absent manual adjustment.
