Multi-position adjustable headrest assembly

An adjustable headrest assembly attachable to a seat back and including a linear slide and rotating links that allow the headrest to translate forward, laterally and/or about axes parallel to the seat back to provide head support in various positions. The headrest may further include lateral parts independently adjustable in angle relative to a center part to provide enhanced lateral head support. The adjustable headrest assembly is attachable to a front side of a seat back or to other adjustment mechanisms such as a vertical adjustment mechanism for moving the headrest assembly up or down relative to a seat back.

Vehicle side pillow assembly

A vehicle side pillow assembly includes: a connection bar, two ends of which being disposed with first and second side pillows having opposite pillow surfaces; and first and second installation parts for installing the vehicle side pillow assembly onto two insertion rods of a vehicle headrest. The first and second installation parts are arranged in mirror symmetry and movably connected to the connection bar. The connection bar is disposed with several spaced engagement slots along an axial direction thereof. The first and second installation parts are respectively disposed with first and second engagement portions matching the engagement slots. The first and second engagement portions are capable of being engaged with or separated from the engagement slots, so that the first and second installation parts are fixed at a position corresponding to the insertion rods. The vehicle side pillow assembly is convenient to use and has the characteristics of being convenient for disassembly, installation and storage.

Adjustable headrest assembly with neck support feature

A headrest assembly includes a front surface and a frame member disposed within an interior of the headrest bun. First and second hinge members are coupled to opposite sides of the frame member and first and second side supports are operably coupled to the first and second hinge members, such that the first and second side supports are independently operable between stowed and extended positions relative to the headrest bun. The first and second side supports extended outwardly from the front surface of the headrest bun in the extended position, and the friction hinges are tuned to move the first and second side supports towards the stowed position when the first and second side supports are contacted by a vehicle occupant during a vehicle impact event.

Headrest assembly with flexible support structure and stretched fabric cover

A headrest assembly including a plate attachable to a front side of a seat back, a flexible support structure attached to the plate, and a continuous fabric cover stretched over the flexible support structure and tensioned to create a hollow pocket behind the fabric cover and forward of the plate to allow the fabric cover to depress inward toward the plate in response to loading on a center portion of the fabric cover. The flexible support may be a flexible wire frame having symmetrical side portions angled away from the plate to induce a concave curve in the fabric cover to cradle the head of a seat occupant. The assembly may further include an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the position of the headrest relative to the seat back.
