The special feature is that the first latch formation is fixed on the support (12) or that an upper region of at least one link (116) is provided with the first latch formation, and that the second latch formation is fixed on the head contact part (11).
Seat device for vehicle and method of assembling same
A seat device for a vehicle includes a dynamic damper attached to a frame of a seat installed in the vehicle. The dynamic damper includes a damper case that is formed from separable first and second case halves, a weight that is housed in a damper chamber, and an elastic member that is disposed between the weight and the damper chamber so as to allow vibration of the weight. The damper case is provided with a plurality of mounting parts that are mounted on the frame, and the mounting parts comprise first and second mounting parts which are engaged with the frame at two left and right places as seen in a front view of the seat, and a third mounting part other than the first and second mounting parts which is provided between the first and second mounting parts.
Multi-stage seatback extension system
A multi-stage seatback extension system is disclosed. In embodiments, the multi-stage seatback extension system includes a backrest base assembly, an extendable backrest assembly, and an extendable headrest assembly. The extendable backrest assembly is moveably coupled to the backrest base assembly such that it can be pulled away from the backrest base assembly or pushed toward the backrest base assembly. The extendable headrest assembly is coupled to the extendable backrest assembly so that the headrest assembly can also be extended (or retracted). In this regard, the extendable backrest assembly and the headrest assembly implement a multi-stage (e.g., two stage or more) seatback extension system.

CROSS-CAR MOVEABLE HEADREST ASSEMBLY
A headrest assembly moveable in a cross-car direction along an upper portion of a seatback. The headrest assembly includes a seatback track member and a headrest track member that are operably connected for relative sliding movement therebetween. Movement of the headrest assembly in the cross-car direction can be automated via a motor and a controller. Certain safety features may be implemented such as a maximum range of motion of the headrest assembly in accordance with specific software implemented instructions. Stored profiles are accessible such that each headrest assembly associated with a passenger's seat can be moved into preferred locations for minimum visual obstruction when not in use. In addition, movement of the headrest assembly in the cross-car direction can also be effectuated manually.
Headrest, a seat comprising a headrest and a method of actuating a headrest
A headrest including a resilient headrest structure. The resilient headrest structure has a resilient headrest structure surface. The resilient headrest structure surface defines a non-planar contour, in particular an arcuate contour, when the resilient headrest structure is fixed between two points. The resilient headrest surface defines a planar contour when the resilient headrest structure is released. Due to the material properties of the resilient headrest structure, the resilient headrest structure surface automatically returns to the planar contour from the non-planar contour when the resilient headrest structure is released.
ADJUSTABLE UPPER THORACIC SUPPORT FOR AIRCRAFT SEAT
A seat for an aircraft may comprise a seat pan and a back support coupled to the seat pan. An upper thoracic support may be located proximate an end of the back support opposite the seat pan. The upper thoracic support may be configured to rotate relative to the back support. A headrest may be coupled to the upper thoracic support.
Headrest
The load applied to a connecting member that connects a second horizontal shaft to a base member in a headrest for a vehicle is reduced. The headrest comprises a pillar member including a right and a left vertical shaft extending upward from an upper part of a seat back, a right and a left first horizontal shaft extending forward from upper ends of the respective vertical shafts, each first horizontal shaft including a curved section, and a second horizontal shaft extending laterally between front parts of the first horizontal shafts, a base member including a base vertical portion extending vertically ahead of the vertical shafts, a base upper portion extending rearward from an upper end of the base vertical portion, and a right and a left first hole formed in the base upper portion to have the respective curved sections or the respective vertical shafts passed therethrough, a connecting member pivotably connecting the base upper portion to the second horizontal shaft, and a pad supported by the base member.
