The cover plate includes a cover panel portion, and a cover frame portion extending from an outer circumferential edge of the cover panel portion toward the base plate. The base plate includes a base panel portion, and a base frame portion extending from an outer circumferential edge of the base panel portion toward the cover plate, and fitted into the cover frame portion. A first part of the cover frame portion is joined to the base frame portion, and a remaining second part of the cover frame portion is enjoined to the base frame portion.
HEADREST ASSEMBLY WITH FRICTION HINGE
A headrest assembly for use in a vehicle includes a housing having a front portion and a rear portion. The headrest assembly also includes an armature operatively coupling the rear portion to a seatback of an automobile seat. The front portion includes a central panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel, wherein the first side panel pivots relative to the central panel about a first vertical axis, and the second side panel pivots relative to the central panel about a second vertical axis. The headrest assembly also includes a first spring clip assembly connecting the first side panel to a side of the central panel and a second spring clip assembly connecting the second side panel to an opposite side of the central panel, the first and second spring clip assemblies maintaining an angular position of the first and second side panels absent manual adjustment.
HEADREST AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A headrest includes an insert member covering a gate-shaped stay other than both legs of the gate-shaped stay, a pad body covering the insert member other than a lower surface of the insert member, a cover having a bag-shape, covering the pad body, and forming an outer shape of a headrest main body, and a strip-shaped plate member attached to an end edge of the cover between the legs in a state where the cover covers the insert member and the legs protrude outward through a cover opening of the cover. The lower surface of the insert member is provided with an insert opening extending in a headrest width direction and disposed between the legs, and the cover is attached to the insert member in a state where the plate member is inserted into the insert opening with the end edge of the cover.
CHILD CAR SEAT AND SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a seat back assembly including a backrest, a headrest and a side wing. The headrest is slidably installed at an upper end of the backrest, and the side wing is disposed on a side of the backrest and is capable of folding and unfolding relative to the backrest. The seat back assembly further includes a driving member, which is disposed on the backrest or the headrest and moves along with the headrest relative to the backrest. The headrest at least, relative to the backrest, has an initial position close to the backrest and an operation position driving the side wing to unfold relative to the backrest. The side wing is folded on the backrest when the headrest slides to a position between the initial position and the operation position.
Headrest
A headrest for a vehicle seat may have a first component constructed of an expanded polypropylene material. The first component may have a covering applied to at least a portion thereof. The headrest may also have a second component constructed of the expanded polypropylene material. The second component may have a front portion with a complementary shape to the first component and may least partially interface with the first component. The second component may have a coating disposed on at least a portion thereof.
ADJUSTABLE HEADREST
A vehicle seat includes a seat base, and a seat back connected to the seat base. The seat back includes an adjustable top pad having a first pad element and a second pad element. The first pad element and the second pad element are selectively moveable to accommodate one of a head protection device and a neck protection device.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR HEADREST AND CHILD SUPPORT DEVICE
A height adjustment mechanism for a headrest includes: a locking member configured to be locked with a height adjustment gear, the locking member having a first locking position and a first unlocking position, and the locking member being capable of switching between the first locking position and the first unlocking position; an operating member having an initial position, a first operating position and a second operating position; a safety lock structure configured to lock the locking member in the first locking position, the safety lock structure being movably connected on the operating member; and a driving member, one side of the driving member being slidably connected to the operating member, the other side of the driving member abutting against the locking member.
Automatic ejection seat performance optimization based on detection of aircrew weight
A system for automatic optimization of an ejection system for an aircraft includes the ejection system having a plurality of adjustable settings. The system further includes a sensor configured to detect weight data corresponding to a weight of a user of the ejection system. The system further includes a controller coupled to the ejection system and to the sensor and configured to adjust at least one of the plurality of the adjustable settings of the ejection system based on the weight data.
VEHICLE SEAT
Provided is a vehicle seat that includes a dynamic damper having desired properties, and that makes it possible to improve a mass holding angle and to reduce cost. A vehicle seat (1) includes: a frame (11a, 12a, 13a); a case (20) attached to the frame (11a, 12a, 13a); and a dynamic damper (30) that is housed in the case (20) and that includes a mass (40) and an elastic body (50). The elastic body (50) includes at least an annular elastic body (51) as a member having a through hole. The mass (40) is fitted to the through hole of the annular elastic body (51), and the outer peripheral surface of the annular elastic body (51) is disposed in contact with the inner wall of the case (20).
Adjustment mechanism for motorized multi-way seat adjustment
An adjustment mechanism for a seat comprises at least one screw shaft (111, 112) and a motor for driving the at least one screw shaft (111, 112). Further, the adjustment mechanism comprises at least one nut element (121, 122) engaged with the at least one screw shaft (121, 122) in such a way that a rotation of the at least one screw shaft (111, 112) caused by the motor translates into a linear motion of the at least one nut element (121, 122). In a first range of the linear motion of the at least one nut element (121, 122) the linear motion translates into adjustment of the seat according to a first degree of freedom, and in a second range of the linear motion of the at least one nut element (121, 122) the linear motion translates into adjustment of the seat according to a second degree of freedom.
