Vehicle interior and associated autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle
A vehicle passenger compartment having at least three seating areas and at least one clear area, located between two adjacent seating areas, wherein the passenger compartment includes at least one separating panel movable between a first position in which the separating panel extends outside the clear area and a second position in which the separating panel extends in the clear area, so as to separate the two associated adjacent seating areas.
Vehicle privacy screen
A vehicle has a vehicle cabin having a front vehicle seat system and a rear seat vehicle system. The front vehicle seat system is located in front of a rear seat vehicle system.
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A seating assembly is provided herein that includes a console disposed between laterally adjacent first and second seats. A panel is disposed within the console and movable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A first portion of the panel has a greater transparency than a second portion of the panel. A tray is supported by the console and movable between a first position and a second position. The tray is supported by a support member extending from the console.
SECOND ROW PRIORITY SEATING FOR VEHICLES
Aspects of the disclosure relate to vehicles capable of autonomous driving. These vehicles may include seats for accommodating different numbers of passengers. In some cases, the seats may be reconfigurable. For instance, a vehicle may include a first row of seating having a first, passenger use configuration. The first row may allow a passenger to sit in a seat of the first row of seating and access user input controls for the vehicle. The first row of seating may also have a second, folded configuration where the first row is in a folded configuration and no longer usable for passenger seating. The vehicle may also have a second row of seating. When the first row of seating is in the second, folded configuration, the second row of seating may still be usable for seating and may include additional legroom for the passenger as compared to when the first row of seating is in the first passenger use configuration.
Partition opening/closing system
Provision or non-provision of partitions is changeable in correspondence with the presence or absence of occupants in a vehicle. A partition opening/closing system is provided with a partition opening/closing determination unit and a partition drive unit. The partition drive unit is a drive device that drives opening and closing of partitions. Partitions are opened and closed between a plurality of seats provided in the vehicle. The partition opening/closing determination unit is a control unit that determines the necessity for opening/closing of partitions. Information indicating at least one of scheduled boarding and scheduled alighting of the vehicle by occupants is used in this determination.
UNIVERSAL REST SEATS
A passenger seat assembly includes a seat support and an immobile seat shell mounted on the seat support. The seat shell can include a bench and a backrest. The bench includes a forward edge, an aft edge, and a top surface extending between the forward edge and the aft edge. The backrest can be connected to the aft edge of the bench and can extend in an upward direction from the top surface of the bench. In some cases, the backrest includes an upright portion connected to the bench and angled at a first angle with respect to the top surface of the bench, and a resting portion connected to the bench and angled at a second angle with respect to the top surface of the bench.
Automobile passenger compartment console insert
An insert for a passenger compartment in a vehicle is preferably made of a compressible foam with a handle inserted on a generally flat top. The opposite or bottom side of the insert includes a channel adapted to conform with the handbrake in the vehicle. The compressible main body fits between the seat and the central console and prevents the accidental dropping of objects into the space therebetween.
