SEAT ADJUSTMENT APPARATUS FOR MOBILITY
A seat adjustment apparatus for mobility includes a seat cushion, wherein, during seat cushion tilting, the front portion of the seat cushion is moved upwards, and the rear portion thereof is moved downwards so that the occupant's lower body is not moved upwards as a whole, and the occupant's feet are not excessively lifted. Accordingly, there is no need for a separate footrest for supporting the occupant's feet, and seating convenience is improved by implementing a stable occupant posture. Furthermore, a tilting bar provided for seat cushion tilting supports a seat frame so that the posture of the occupant's lower body does not collapse due to deformation of the seat cushion during a collision, securing the occupant's stability.
Side-By-Side Utility Vehicle
A side-by-side utility vehicle includes a frame, a cockpit, a prime mover assembly having an engine, a transmission assembly, and a gear shift assembly, and an intake and exhaust system having a combustion air intake manifold and a combustion exhaust manifold. The combustion air intake manifold is closer to the seat(s) than the combustion exhaust manifold. The engine defines a cylinder head mid-point and the seat(s) define a seat beam front point, the ratio of a distance between the cylinder head mid-point and the seat beam front point to a wheel base is in the range from 0.22 to 0.49. The heat source generated by the engine is away from the driver, improving the comfort, increasing the storage space, and facilitating the maintenance.
Deployable cargo panel
An assembly for a vehicle includes a vehicle roof and a panel rotatably connected to the vehicle roof. The panel is rotatable away from the vehicle roof from a stowed position to a deployed position. The assembly includes an airbag supported on the panel. The airbag is inflatable from the panel in a vehicle-forward direction when the panel is in the deployed position.
Spring lock mechanism
Provided is a spring lock mechanism including: a lock drum (11) provided on either one of a first member (20) and a second member (20); a coil spring (12) secured to the other member, abutting on the lock drum (11), and locking turning of the second member (30) in one direction relative to the first member (20) due to a frictional force; and a switching mechanism causing the second member (30) to turn relative to the first member (20) to switch a state in which the locking has been established and a state in which the locking has been released and held, in which the coil spring (12) abuts on an inner circumferential surface of the lock drum (11), the diameter of the coil spring (12) increases through compression of a spring wire material of the coil spring (12) in a longitudinal direction caused by the turning of the second member (20), the coil spring thus further presses the inner circumferential surface of the lock drum (11) and locks the turning due to the frictional force, and the switching mechanism accompanies an operation of extending or shortening a length of the coil spring (12) in the state in which the locking has been released relative to the length of the coil spring (12) in the state in which the locking has been established.
Bed Support Mechanism for a Bed Lift
A bed lift includes a bed support mechanism used to hold a bed in a raised position. The bed support mechanism includes a catch mechanism and a release mechanism. The release mechanism is configured to move the catch mechanism between an engaged position where the catch mechanism holds the bed in the raised position and a disengaged position where the catch mechanism does not hold the bed in the raised position.
ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED SEAT SYSTEM WITH TILT-AND-SLIDE MODE
A seat system includes: a base; a seatback; at least one recliner connecting the base and the seatback to each other for pivoting of the seatback relative to the base; a slider coupled to the base and configured for sliding engagement with a track having a detent region and a tilt-and slide region; and an electronic controller, wherein without mechanical interlock between the recliner and the slider, the electronic controller causes the recliner to place the seatback in a non-passenger position when the slider is within the tilt-and-slide region, and causes the recliner to place the seatback in a passenger position when the slider is within the detent region.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a lock-to-neutral-position mechanism that locks a seat cushion at a neutral position, and an immediate lock mechanism that locks the seat cushion immediately at a current position when locking is required. A steering sensor senses a steering angle and a steering angular velocity. The immediate lock mechanism performs the locking when the steering angle is large, whereas the lock-to-neutral-position mechanism performs the locking when the steering velocity is high. When the steering wheel is at the neutral position, the locking by the immediate lock mechanism is released and the locking is switched over to the lock-to-neutral-position mechanism that is in a lock ready state.
Seat with automatic tilting
A vehicle seat that includes a support intended to be rigidly fixed to the frame of a vehicle, a seating portion, a backrest extending the rear end of the seating portion, and a connecting mechanism which connects the seating portion to the support. The connecting mechanism has a primary mechanism which allows forward tilting of the seating portion and backrest relative to the support between a rest position and a forward-tilted position. The seat includes a first motor able to tilt the seating portion from its rest position to its tilted position, and a control member for the first motor.
