A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat main frame including a seat back attached to the seat main frame. The vehicle seat assembly also includes left and right side members in which each side member defines an outboard seat back bolster and an armrest. The armrest has a forward attachment bracket for attachment to the seat main frame. The vehicle seat assembly also includes a seat base including a seat base frame attached to the seat main frame and left and right corner cover members separate from the respective left and right side members and the seat base. Each corner cover member is adapted to cover the forward attachment bracket of the corresponding side member. Further, the left and right corner cover members conceal the attachment of the left and right side members to the seat main frame.
VEHICLE SEAT AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle body including a side body component and a transverse body component, and a vehicle seat attached to the each of the side and transverse body components. The vehicle seat includes a seat main frame including an attached seat back, a side member attached to the seat main frame, the side member defining an outboard bolster for the seat back and an armrest, and a seat base attached to the seat main frame. A first connection bracket is secured to the transverse body component adjacent an outboard side edge portion of the seat back, and the outboard bolster of the side member is connected to the first connection bracket. VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat that can suitably protect a seated occupant against an impact from a seat width direction is described, while enlargement of the seat in the seat width direction is restrained. A support member provided to the vehicle seat supports the seated occupant from a side of the seated occupant, and includes an inner plate attached to a seat width direction inner side of a side frame, an outer plate attached to a seat width direction outer side of the side frame, and a connection plate for connecting the inner plate and the outer plate on a seat front side. The outer plate is attached to the seat width direction outer side of the side frame at a position that does not overlap in the seat width direction with attachment positions of the inner plate and the side frame.
Adjustable seat and method for controlling same
A seat having a backrest and a seat cushion includes rows of adjusting elements, respectively, which adjusting elements are arranged above one another, on both sides of the longitudinal center plane of the seat. By alternately applying the adjusting elements mutually arranged in a vertically staggered manner in the two halves of the seat, a rotational movement can be actively applied to a seat user's back and possibly pelvis, which rotational movement corresponds to the rotational movement of the back, and possibly of the pelvis, when walking.

The utility vehicle includes: a seat frame provided below the seat and supporting the seat; and a seatbelt apparatus configured to hold the crew member sitting on the seat. The seatbelt apparatus includes a retractor supporting an end of webbing so as to freely wind the webbing. The retractor is attached to the seat frame, and the retractor projects outward in the vehicle width direction from the hip guard member.

Seat assemblies are provided which include a seat base structure, a seat cushion supported by the seat base structure and at least a lateral outboard seat lip positioned relative to the seat cushion so as to assist a passenger during seat entry and exit. The lateral outboard seat lip is preferably attached relative to the seat cushion for manual movements between an extended position wherein the outboard seat lip extends outwardly thereby increasing effective surface area of the seat cushion and a deflected position wherein the outboard seat lip extends upwardly or downwardly relative to the seat cushion so as to thereby decrease the effective surface area of the seat cushion.
