PP030713 · 2019-07-16 · ·

A new and distinct cultivar of Iberis plant named Summer Snowdrift, characterized by its pure white-colored flowers, dark green-colored foliage, and moderately vigorous, mounded-spreading growth habit, is disclosed.

BRASSICA OLERACEA PLANTS WITH DOWNY MILDEW RESISTANT CURDS OR HEADS

The present disclosure provides Brassica oleracea plants having curds or heads exhibiting increased resistance to downy mildew. Such plants may comprise novel introgressed genomic regions associated with disease resistance from Brassica oleracea MYCOCLP. In certain aspects, compositions, including novel polymorphic markers and methods for producing, breeding, identifying, and selecting plants or germplasm with a disease resistance phenotype are provided.

Brilliant White Cauliflower

The present invention includes cauliflowers with enhanced whiteness and methods for obtaining such cauliflowers. The present invention also provides reagents that can be used in methods for obtaining such cauliflowers.

SPECIALITY LOW SATURATES CANOLA OIL
20190174788 · 2019-06-13 ·

Specialty canola oil is provided with preferred stability, flavor, and low levels of saturates. Plants, seeds, and oil contain 3.5% to 5% total saturates, greater than 18% linoleic acid, and less than 3% linolenic acid. The oil of the invention provides not only lower saturates levels but also acceptable frying stability and improved flavor.

Canola hybrid cultivar G3697124H

The present invention relates to a new and distinctive canola, designated G3697124H. Also included are seeds of canola G3697124H, to the plants, or plant parts, of canola G3697124H and to methods for producing a canola plant produced by crossing the canola G3697124H with itself or another canola genotype, and the creation of variants by mutagenesis or transformation of canola G3697124H.

BRASSICA INTERGENERIC CROSSBRED PLANT CONTAINING LARGE AMOUNT OF GLUCORAPHANIN, AND CREATION METHOD THEREFOR

A Brassicaceae plant containing a large amount of glucoraphanin is obtained. A first parent plant and a second parent plant, which are both Brassicaceae plants classified into different genera, are crossbred, thereby obtaining an intergeneric crossbred plant. The first parent plant has 5 mg/100 g (fresh weight) or more of glucoraphanin. The second parent plant has a loss-of-function type glucoraphasatin synthase gene.

Canola hybrid variety 7CN0020

The invention relates to a Canola hybrid variety designated 7CN0020, essentially derived variants of that Canola hybrid variety, to the cells, seeds, plants, and plant parts of this Canola hybrid variety 7CN0020. The invention also relates to methods for producing a canola plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into 7CN0020 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the Canola seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. The invention also relates to uses of 7CN0020.
